Amazing view and lovely Came for lunch with my sister. We loved our Thai-style mains which were amazing with lots of flavour, very impressive for a vegetarian restaurant. But the service was below average and the chips were too terrible to finish. When we arrived at 1.40, we had to wait 20 minutes while they got our table ready. OK, so we didn't have a reservation, but the restaurant was only half full. There was no reason to make us wait at all. We ordered the chips as a side dish and they looked delicious. But, when we tasted them, they were overcooked and swimming in oil so we left most of them. We expected a lot more for $10! When the waiter asked if everything was ok, we said we really didn't like the chips and he said 'That's funny, I love them' and that was it. He didn't offer us anything else or take them off our bill. Also, when we didn't leave a tip, he looked annoyed. I was really excited about visiting Vega, and the mains were just fantastic, but the rest of the experience was really disappointing.

The management and cleanliness here is very good. People here are treated with great affection and the rooms and balconies here give a very natural feeling. The taste of the food and snacks here is very delicious This place is perfect for a family or couples party venue

Food was soo gd once again… i would love to come here again n again..Thanks Mr Suraj for providing us the best food.. it was really v delicious.. this was my second visit to this place n I really enjoyed every bite of food provided to me.. it is indeed my pleasure to be here

Rooms are fine, but have no view. Open the curtains and you see a wall in front. Also the power backup takes time to start once there is power failure. Maybe manually operated. Food was good. Service was the highlight of the entire stay. Right from check in, restaurant, room service and housekeeping, it was excellent and the only reason I would stay there again.

With family stayed in two rooms on 3rd floor for two nights . The rooms linen were dirty and we requested for change, the bathroom toilet were not sanitize and towels were old and dirty. The centralize AC did not cool efficiently despite complaints.staff service is poor. Did not expect it so pathetic hotel of Sarovar portico. Waste of money not recommended.

This is a good and well managed property. Staff is soft spoken and quick to response. Rooms are spacious and with required comfort. If you are going to Dehradun, Sarovar Portico, Rajpur Road will be good choice for stay.

This is a charming little hotel just on the Rajpur Road. We stayed on Holi, so the market was closed and the road was empty, on a weekday perhaps the space would be little crowded. The interiors are well-maintained, adhering to Sarovar Portico standards. The staff is very well-behaved and cooperative. The food is expensive and not-so-tasty, however the buffet breakfast had ample options. This is purely a business hotel, not much to do for kids, but is an excellent base for sightseeing in and around Dehradun. There is a partial night view of Mussoorie from the corridor as well!

We, a family of 3 belong to Delhi and decided to spend some time in Dehradun . After checking the reviews over internet, we found 'Sarovar Portico' as the best place to stay in Dehradun . We booked Sarovar Portico remotely and I ***** with my father Raman Lamba and mother reached there on 23.03.24 and were warmly greeted by the Front Desk staff . The check in was very smooth and we felt just like a family met . We stayed in Sarovar Portico and finally checked out on 26.03.24 with sweet memories of a very comfortable stay there . The rooms we stayed in, were spacious and comfortable and had every facility what a five star hotel would have . The ambience of the rooms from inside and the rest of the hotel including the dining area and lobbies etc were so soothing that it got embedded in our souls. The food !!! The food was excellently prepared and we felt the real taste of each of the dish ordered . The breakfast was so much full of variety that one is compelled to over eat. The hospitality extended by each and every player at Sarovar Portico was unexpectedly good right from the Front Desk to the house keeping staff and the dining area staff .

Nestled in a commercial complex on the busy and possibly the most visited Rajpur Road, this boutique property stands on its own. The rooms are very tastefully done and the entrance has a certain old British charm. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel cleanliness was top notch. The buffet breakfast albeit with limited options was tasteful and service was quick. Mr Rawat who is at the helm of affairs is an able handler and is on top of everything. Must visit of you are breaking for a visit to Mussoorie, if you want to be near the happening points in Dehradun or a business visit.
