The hotel is amazing!!! Staff are very friendly and professional, room was very clean with an amazing view of the Hamburg Airport runway. Restaurant was very busy, the beef burger was very good. Went up to the Sky Bar located on the 9th floor. Amazing menu with a choice of everything.

This hotel is modern but has some issues that ruined my exoerience. First of all wifi was nonexistenf and for some reason my phone would also not work unless I walked 50 m away from the hotel. Also there is nothing at all within the proximity to find in terms of food or snacks. With the café closed (!) mid day There was nothing to find unless paying 2 euro to catch the shuttle to the airport (55 min walk). Then despite being a modern building Walls are paper thin. I could here every word of my neighbours conversations. Finally.. I ordered and paid for a 6,00am shuttle service - the driver loaded my bag and I sat in - only to be told ”this 6,00 am is for Turkish airlines crew only” and I had to get out. Left behind a friendly man at front desk did order me a Taxi and 10 min late I was on my way. But Unfortunately my experience was already ruined by stress and frustration. What save this from a one star is the gym on the 9th floor !

Nordport used to be a decent business hotel. It isn’t anymore. It has poor maintenance (my air/heat didn’t work, and was noisy, warm, and dank, keeping my up all night). They now have irregular cleaning on request only, and even so they have dirty sheets to begin with. The few remaining amenities are nonfunctioning, there is poor food and customer service, with the cafe and bar closed. There are minimal business services, and as it sits in an isolated location, very few options for service, food, or other activities. There are almost no welcoming touches in the rooms anymore which might make it more tolerable, from decor to water to soaps and moisturiser. The food deserves a special mention for its low quality…as well as it’s charmless setting and gruff service. The service deserves mention as well..it was either absent, or vaguely hostile, as if guests were an intrusion and a hassle. I suspect it’s because they are understaffed, undertrained, and not well managed post covid. They seem to be renting it out to cost conscious pensioners to bring in cash, which of course doesn’t add to its ambiences It’s unfortunate as it was fairly decent. Certainly even before it had some deficiencies, but they were both consistent and acceptable, as evidenced in the reviews. It would be nice if they did the work to get it back up to its former state, but until then I can’t see it surviving, and certainly wouldn’t recommend it until they address with action.

I stayed at the Nordport Hotel for three nights with 10 guests. The Hotel is great, modern, clean, everything needed there. Extremely spaceous rooms very motivated people. Even the restaurant is good enough for a good diner. Breakfast is top. So far so good.. It happened that I returned to my room after first night and found it not made. Well, such things happen, no worries. I went to receptions. A thousend sorries and I got a new room immediately. No further comment, neither from me nor from them. Home I came after second night and found the room not made again. This time, after showing up at the reception I was told by the same nice woman as the evening before, that room cleaning service is done only every third day..!!! Only on special request daily service is provided. I don’t how how green or good this idea is. Fact is that nobody told us, it is also nowhere mentioned in the room or at the reception. During checkout I found that most of my guests (obviously not all) had the same experience. However, same as me, nobody told them a thing. Anyway, 5 points shall be given, I simply loved the place..
