What a disappointment! Love Springhill Suites and stay in them often but this is the first time I have been disappointed – how is this hotel in the Marriot family? It has the Springhill brand but really, it’s a very old, converted conference hotel in an old building that has not been kept up. Lobby is fine but the room was NOT clean, had outdated furniture, and the heating and air system made so much noise it was impossible to sleep. The front desk staff was efficient and pleasant, but the room was dirty, not simply ”not clean enough” but dirty. I found so many little black hairs in the shower it made me wonder if housekeeping just replaced the towels and mopped the floor because the shower stall was gross. The surfaces in the room were sticky and found some items behind the nightstand from former guests – again, not sure how they keep the brand name when the rooms are so subpar. There is ample parking and the rooms are large so maybe this okay for sports teams as I saw a lot of them coming and going – maybe teenage boys don’t mind dirty bathrooms but do not recommend for anyone else. Also noted the hotel had dumped a bunch of mattresses and sofas behind one of the buildings (in photo) so not sure why these were dumped and why they are so visible from the parking lot?!! Better hotels in the same area of Denton - -

The only reason why I’m just giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the light above the full length mirror was not working. It was not a problem as there was plenty of light in the room. BUT when I returned from being out for the day I found the light on the floor and a new on installed. Which was nice to have a new light. BUT , the old light was left on the floor, and if I had not turned the main room light on as I entered I would have stepped on it. So, I picked it up and put it in the hallway by my door . I have a certain way of making my bed before I leave and it was obvious to me that someone or something had been sitting on the bed. Not really a major issue , just uncomfortable to know someone had been in my room and I was not notified beforehand. I am aware maintenance has access to any areas at any time. I have worked in such an environment myself. I also know that sometimes maintenance is short handed and they may have several work orders to complete in a limited time. I’m reminding the team to please,please notify the residents that the possibility of maintenance may be performed while they are checked in for any time. I did take pictures and I did consider speaking with management. It is not necessary for that. I’m hoping it was just an accident.

The Hotel is within 10 minutes of Five Star Complex, The Tribute Golf Club and Old American Golf Club. Enjoy all-suite accommodations featuring fully equipped kitchens, living rooms with a full-size pull out sofa and work desk and bedroom with a king size bed.

Great hotel for a great price! It was just a one night stay, but very glad this is the hotel that we choose. The bed was super comfortable and the A/C was ICE COLD! The young man at the front desk who checked us in was very nice as was Charles when we checked out. The breakfast was great. Plenty of hot and cold items to choose from and the area was kept clean. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wish I could’ve gotten a first or second floor room. I don’t use elevators. I got a third floor room it was okay. I really appreciate the front desk people. They are very helpful

I stayed here in mid-September 2022. At check in the staff was courteous and check in was efficient. As I'm walking to my room it's obvious this place has not been updated in a long time or at least not well maintained. It has a run down and not so clean feel in the hallways. The rooms do have a cleaner feel though. My issue began when my key card didn't work. I went down to the desk and the lady reprogrammed the key. I went back because it still didn't work. I asked if she had a master key that she could try. She just reprogrammed by key, which still (of course) didn't work. She called maintenance, who she said was on-site, for which it took 45 minutes for him to get to my room. During this time I asked her to call the manager, for which she refused. It turns out the batteries in the door were too low to open. Additionally, the next morning breakfast wasn't available until about 815 to 830 even though it's supposed to start at 600 or 630. The manager offered points on whatever points program they have for the bad service. I don't have or want their points program. She called back saying they would send a gift card. More than one month later and I've never received the gift card. All around bad customer service and just meh accommodations.

This hotel was conveniently located for visiting the nearby colleges. Rooms were clean and quiet with plenty of parking. I was excited to discover that the fitness room had a Peloton bike, but then disappointed when I found the bike was not registered so I was not able to use it with my account and access all the benefits of the bike. However, fitness room was clean and larger than typical Hampton Inn hotels. They had a good breakfast selection and the lobby was spacious and clean. They are finishing up renovations so this hotel had a more modern, newer look. I appreciated 24/7 access to coffee and hot tea in the lobby.

THE ROOM LOOKS A LITTLE OLD BUT THE SHOWER WATER POWER IS GREAT. GOOD LOCATION
