We choose to stay here each time we visit Detroit! The historic building is beautiful! It is right in the middle of everything!! We feel safe walking and we can get most places in less than 15 minutes! The rooms are very well done and the beds are extremely comfortable! Their front desk person Desmon is the absolute best!! If you want to meet the perfect person that fits their position head on over to the front desk at the David Whitney!! Always a smile and truly wants to make “you” happy!!

This hotel is extremely well run. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and very conscientious. The room was clean and well apportioned. However, room was a bit dark in certain areas, but it was spacious and had no mechanical or electrical issues. Keep in mind that this hotel is an urban areas, as result you will hear noise that is typical for a large city. You are within walking distance for many good places to dine and attractions downtown. The hotel lobby is dated and warn. It needs an update. It was still very clean and spacious. This is a perfect location to stay if you plan to attend any Detroit sporting events. You are a 5-10 minute walk from Comerica Park and Ford Field and 10-15 minute walk to the ice/basketball area. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there the next time we are in Detroit.

這輩子沒住過這麼好的酒店，房間應有盡有，乾淨整潔，配件齊全。staff也很好，提前6個小時讓我入住，感動。。。一般不寫評論但這次實在是超出預期，有錢的話我要住一輩子這個酒店

Perfect location in downtown, walkable to the sports arenas, shopping and restaurants. We were upgraded to a studio room that was large and included a kitchenette, counter w/stools and sofa. The room and hotel were very clean and included hardwood floors. Breakfast was good. The staff was great. Tiara and Ricka at the front desk were awesome and help us with the recommendations and downtown events.

Overall my stay was pretty good however we weren't informed that in order to receive house keeping you have to request it. Usually you request to not have house keeping not request to get house keeping. However the shower was the $hit..
