Due to COVID pandemic, we decided to stay in a hotel for a couple of weeks. We booked at Empyrean hotel opposite old Tejgaon Airport near the Air Force Officers Mess. The hotel is in a quiet area of Dhaka. We initially booked a Deluxe King room. The room was of reasonable size and comfortable, but the bathroom was not what we wanted. The main issue was that there were no shower door or curtain. Which means, when one takes a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. We told the reception manager about it and he moved us to their Presidential suite, albeit with higher price. So, after staying in the king room for two nights, we moved to the Presidential Suite. This room was excellent and spacious. The shower stall had a door. Everything in this suite was above average. Even though the suite is not really a ”suite”, but a large room with couple of extra couches, we did not feel crowed. But what sets this hotel apart from other hotels is their service. The service is outstanding. From front desk to the restaurant waiters, the willingness to take care of the guests is superb. I am definitely going to stay here in future if needed and going to recommend this hotel to all my friends in USA.

Decent hotel at the business centre of Dhaka and not too far from the Airport. I had booked an executive class room but was given standard deluxe at the front office. However, when i reminded they immediately changed it to the executive class (what if someone didn’t notice but had paid for executive - this should not happen). Breakfast buffet was good and staff member ‘ARMAAN’ at the restaurant served me really well. He was courteous and helpful. Other hotel staff were also good but they can improve a bit at the concierge. Wifi was good. A lot of eateries around the area so I mostly ate out, Especially, at the famous Star Kebab restaurant which is just round the corner. Better taste, options and reasonably priced. The room service and restaurant price were too exaggerated and on top of that you are charged multiple taxes. Overall comfortable stay but i guess if you are in Dhaka - go for apartments/AirBnb as there are limited good hotels and they are mega expensive.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Midori Hotel. We must say one thing: the friendly and kind staff were the highlight. We personally would like to thank Alam, for his professionalism, attention to details and true caring that everything was perfect for us in our room. He is a Star! We also want to thank Jabad, Masud, Mahbub and Fuad for their assistance and attentiveness at all times during breakfast, housekeeping and room service, and Hafiz at reception! If you need something, you call and they immediately arrive and assist you. The positive energy and attitude they carried with them when interacting with us was genuinely amazing. They made us feel very welcomed and special. Regarding the rooms, they are very comfortable, well equipped with a desk and chair, mini fridge, coffee & tea set, TV with Netflix, sofa, and a great balcony with views from the top to watch some cool thunderstorms. Internet was working fine. The restaurant breakfast was good too. They have a wide selection of savory Asian and Indian food. I enjoyed having the Omelette and Coffee every morning.

The room and infrastructure were decent, but the check-out front desk provided a masterclass in deliberate troublemaking. Despite booking for one person, we checked in as two. The front desk happily took our IDs and checked us in without a peep. But the next day, a different front desk clerk, evidently lacking any understanding of the situation, decided to inform us that an extra person would cost an additional 10 US dollars. Bravo! Such logic could only come from a true genius.
Naturally, I was livid and had a heated argument with them. Their service attitude was stellar—extremely poor and unprofessional. If they intended to charge extra, why not inform us during check-in instead of springing this delightful surprise at check-out? Clearly, they’re connoisseurs of the fine art of annoying guests.
I had initially thought well of the hotel, but thanks to this delightful front desk experience, all those positive feelings have been thoroughly obliterated. Rest assured, this hotel is now on my blacklist. I will make it my mission to advise my friends against staying here in the future. What a gem of an establishment—truly heartwarming and utterly revolting!

衝著中國人之家的名字訂的房，確實沒有辜負這個名字，酒店給我們提供了住宿訂單，憑着這個訂單通過了落地簽證；然後酒店提供了免費接送機服務，這個在孟加拉國來説太重要了，孟加拉國機場沒有酒店接機，會比較麻煩，機場人很多車很多，很雜亂，你很難在這麼雜亂的情況下找到合適的車輛；酒店提供了一日三餐避免了在外面吃飯不衞生的擔心；我們外出酒店也給我們找了可信的司機；有了這些你可以放心地在孟加拉國自由行。

This hotel could be the best one in Uttara area. The service goes beyond the expectation, as you can feel the pure kind heart from their smile. Remarkably Mr. Asif and Ms. Rupa are very impressive. Their manager Mr. Raihan gave a gentle asking if I arrived back to China. Apart from the service, the facilities are also high quality. Gym, swimming pool, SPA, pub etc. are all well equipped. Highly recommend!

After long time we are all my office colleagues enjoy our meal outside and very shortly we choose this place for our group Dinner the restaurant staffs are undoubtedly shown us very welcoming and guest friendly service. whatever we asked when I give reservation they provide us soo perfectly. Our full team are strongly satisfied with there service. We will visit again and recommends other because of there service and friendly environment with live kitchen.

The Golden Tulip was a relaxing, comfortable hotel. It was a great respite after the hustle and bustle of Dhaka each day. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with so many local and international options. The service of the hotel is all around exceptional, especially Mahadi at the restaurant and every, single person at the front desk each day. The rooms have complimentary robes, slippers, toothbrushes, sew kit - all kinds of little things to make the stay easier. 100% recommend for English-speakers. Everyone speaks enough English to communicate effectively.

JJayGood hotel however during my booking period, the hotel relocated me on 2nd night out of 3 nights due to no room availability but my booking already paid. So quite inconvenient to pack and go to other hotel but not with same price of my current booking. But they offer again to stay at 3rd night but it will be troublesome to again pack and repacking luggage.

RRaybonMetalsPI have stayed in Pearl Hotel at least 5-6 times in the last 2.5 years. Glad to see they have maintained their quality in all spheres of hospitality continuously. Small hotel in a quiet lane off the main road in Banani. Smooth and quick check in, good rooms, good sleep quality, decent food.

Excellent hotel and excellent service. All the staff members were great and helpful especially Imon Bhai who helped me and my family with extra help. He organised my trips and also brought breakfast to my room as me and my family couldn't make it to the restaurant in the morning. Top guy that provided top quality to my trip *************. I recommend staying at Grand Vistana with family or even with just your wife on a honeymoon. Please ask for Imon Bhai for anything and I believe he will make Ur trip spectacular!

PPengguna TetamuAbsolutely tops in terms of service/ helpfulness! Hotel manager snd staff sorted out a complicated issue involving our booking and refused to take or ask for any money from us over the 5 days we stayed - even upgrading us to a suite for the final two nights when one became available.
Staff speak English - and are helpful in providing Information about getting around, arranging transportation and laundry. A lovely rooftop cafe - a green oasis- and Taste Snacks. A Full Range of Bengali dishes as well as western food is also avsilable. And all this for less than 50CAD - very good value!
The hotel is located near the Old City- easily accessible by taxi, tuktuk or rickshaw- also BaileyRoad is within easy walking distance, a quieter tree lined street and New Bailey Road with Shopping Restaurants etc though these are also available in a buzzier context in the streets surrounding the hotel.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and Return again- Note the address at 873 Outer Circular Road( not the one on listing we saw/ booked located several hundred meters away, at 12 Outer Circular Road. The hotels are not linked, whatever you are told by the latter. And actual Grand Circle Inn at 873 is of higher standard/ quality…
