We got to the hotel and we did not have any hot water in our room, so the hotel switched our room saying it was just a problem with the one room, when in fact the entire hotel did not have any hot water. So we all had to take showers in ice cold water. They did not offer us a refund where we could go and stay in another hotel either. It was pretty much sorry, but oh, well. The hotel was really nice and clean, but people go to a hotel for a place to sleep and shower when traveling. Paying a $169 and then having to take ice cold showers is completely unacceptable! And they fact that they knew they had a problem with their hot water and did nothing to attempt to remedy that until the next day after everyone checked out is even more unacceptable. The appropriate reaction would have been to refund our money so that we could find another hotel that offered hot water. It’s a miserable experience after you have had a really long day and you are dirty and just want a hot shower to then have to bathe in ice cold water. It wasn’t even lukewarm.

The Hilton Garden Inn Dothan hotel is located in the very southeast corner of Alabama off of Highway 231 S. It is a lovely, growing city within 90 miles of Panama City Beach, Florida.
Our hotel was designed with contemporary flair, with the business traveler in mind. Each of the hotel's beautiful guests rooms feature either one King bed, two Double Queen beds, King Suites or two Double Queen Suites with the Hilton Duvet system that offers clean and crisp linen each and every time you stay in one of these lovely rooms. Every guest room and suite offers a 42-inch HDTV, a large work area with desk, the Herman Miller ergonomic Mirra swivel desk chair, WiFi, including in public spaces and meeting areas, two telephones, one with two lines and speaker phone capabilities, adjustable lighting, desk level electrical outlets, alarm clock radio, and iron with ironing board. Each room offers a hospitality center for convenience that includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea. The Hilton bedding was designed for comfort at its best, offering that feeling of "being at home". The hotel also offers suites with King beds and Queen beds so the whole family can enjoy being together. The hotel offers connecting rooms and side by side suites for the larger group of travelers who want to be close together.
The hotel offers the Garden Grille & Bar restaurant that offers a full, hot breakfast buffet each morning from 6:30am until 10:00am weekdays and 7:00am until 11:00am on weekends to get you going. The main reason for this hotel is that the sanitation is not very good, the floor and the countertops of the kitchenette are sticky, and the sink is not clean. There are stoves, microwaves, ovens and refrigerators in the kitchen, but other utensils are gone. You need to have your own household items to cook.
