Phoenicia Grand Hotel

Regrettably, our stay at this hotel proved to be a regrettable expenditure. The rooms are unsanitary and filled with insects, The safety deposit box issued was defective, and despite addressing the issue at reception, including discussions with Isa and Nicole, our complaints were met with partial resolution and an ongoing, rude attitude from staff. Our attempt to find a resolution left us feeling dissatisfied, reinforcing our belief that this hotel, despite my inclination to give it any star, aligns more closely with a disappointing investment compelled by our better judgment.Do not waste your time or money going to this hotel!

This hotel is doing illegal things. They take the passport during check in and keep it with them till check out. This is illegal.If they lose passport or do anything with that, you are in trouble. Staff do not say anything, after checking and taking money, they do not give back the passport, they say it will stay with them. They say it is hotel rule , but they cannot implement hotel rules that violates the law of the land. The Government has issued order not to keep customers' passports with them. But, they are keeping it illegally saying as security. If they need security, take security deposit and give receipt like other hotels do.
