A wonderful hotel just on the outskirts of the city but only a 20 minute car ride in. In a stunning, peaceful location which was perfect to escape the hustle & bustle of the city yet close enough to the major road network to discover the outer reaches of Ireland. Breakfast was excellent and never felt too busy with a large selection of hot & cold food. We had a suite which was extremely comfortable with a very large king size bed and wonderful waterfall shower. A very memorable and enjoyable stay.

The service and staff were exceptional. The reception checked us in quickly and had our bags in our rooms within 10 minutes. The rooms very nice and extremely clean. They had everything we needed and more. The concierge was very quick to collect us from the taxi and usher us to the front desk. They also provided help with reservations and taxi service. All done very quickly and always with a smile. This hotel values its guests and it shows in every little detail. We were well taken care of during our stay and would definitely book here again.

Although the whole area was under construction, the actual location was excellent. We walked almost everywhere to all major attractions such as Parliament, Big Ben, the Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Bridges, etc. As a runner it was easy to simply follow the Thames so I wouldn’t get lost. I liked the Gym and Pool and especially loved the restaurant. The restaurant was very dirty, the seats needed to be brushed out and wiped down, even the chair legs were greasy looking BUT the food was really good. The bar did not carry any Cabernet wine which was odd.. our bar tender Danny was very good and friendly. I liked our suite, it looked over the railroad tracks but worth it for us with 2 teenage boys to have the suite. The entrance to the hotel was extremely over bearing with a strong perfumed air freshener… it made it difficult to breathe upon entering but as soon as I got away from it in the elevator I could breathe. Overall, it was a good place to stay for a vacation in London.

OK let me explain before you book!! Harcourt Street is a busy area with noisy nightclubs from Thursday onwards - maybe other days too but not sure about that so if you are not going clubbing etc and you get a room.at the front - you won't get much sleep because its very noisy and then you have the Luas (Tram) that runs all night!! If you are a bad sleeper and get a room at the front - forget about sleep!!! Earpods won't even drown out the noise!! I would definitely stay again though because of location- 5 mins walk to Grafton Street etc... Fast check in - room basic but spotless and had a bath too which was great!! I didn't eat so can't comment!! Staff v polite!!
