This was an all-around bad experience. As a titanium elite member of the Marriott system it was very disappointing not to be greeted with a welcome bag. The breakfast bar was not regularly serviced by the staff, so basically it was first come first serve. Therefore we needed to find breakfast elsewhere. Upon checking and twice during the stay we confirmed with the front desk that we had a late check out. This was obviously not communicated to the housekeeping staff, throughout the day they continued to knock on the doors. VERY DISRUPTIVE! . Our room keys were deactivated our room keys were deactivated not allowing our family access to the rooms in which we purchased. Speaking of housekeeping, it is not performed unless upon check-in it is requested. The one time we did request service the trash was not taken and essentials were not replaced. Upon checking out the female manager on duty was very rude to her three children. Her behavior caused our oldest son to experience extreme anxiety. This is a very basic hotel where the elevators were in and out of service. I highly recommend that Marriott provides the staff with customer service training. We definitely will not be back! There are plenty of other options in the area, and this one is a definite NO WAY!
