Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum.
Highly recommended.

The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, and the shower was powerful. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor, and one can hang clothes out to dry on the roof. Staff were helpful and polite.

This is such a cool looking place. The rooms are clean and tidy. Everything looks like the pictures. It is close to the night markets, open your door and you are there. Close to the airport, 30 or 40 mins. I will come back here!

The best aspect of this hotel is the staff who are ready to help. The hotel is also very generous with their snacks - yogurt, fruits, tea, nuts, sultanas, - all readily available at the reception. The location is excellent - a few steps from the famous night market, and, near by, a yummy naan shop ( naan with different stuffing etc) The only thing is the rooms smell of cigarette smoke, the smell is always there, so the only one window needed to be open every time we came back.

來敦煌前比較了很多酒店，最終選擇富國，是在同等條件下攜程積分兑勝出了！房間暖和，加濕器好用，床墊舒服，最讚的是枕頭有軟硬兩種！酒店到最熱鬧的地方尚需步行一段。早餐品類不少，連吃三天會有變化，第一天吃到了手工拉麪！如果説硬件、軟件和服務都有可以更好的地方，比如洗浴用品、客房用紙、延遲退房問題的處理等。那工作人員的服務態度感覺已經沒有進步空間了，非常非常好！接機、前台、餐廳、每一位工作人員都很好！態度滿分！

The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law.
The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers).
This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

第二次入住這家酒店，服務依舊出色。幾年前初次入住，第二天返程航班很早，我詢問早餐時間，得知趕不上用餐，心裏有些失落。沒想到前台的小姑娘瞭解情況後，主動提出第二天早上幫我們打包早餐，當時就覺得很暖心。第二天清晨，工作人員不僅提前打包好早餐，還貼心地送到房間門口，這樣細緻入微的服務，完全超出了我的預期。所以第二次來敦煌，我毫不猶豫就決定訂這家，可惜旺季房滿沒能訂上。2025年再次踏上敦煌的土地，這裏依然是我的第一選擇。早上10點到酒店，本想着先寄存行李，沒想到前台直接幫我辦理了提前入住，驚喜再次降臨，又一次超出預期。酒店的早餐豐富多樣，最喜歡牛肉麪和羊肉湯真的很棒。餐廳還在**上推出一人套餐，完美解決了單人用餐時既想菜品豐富又怕浪費的困擾，真的太貼心了。不過，酒店規模較大，從大門到2號樓前台大約有2公里的距離，自駕很方便，但叫車不太便利，從莫高窟或者火車站打車，因為距離太近，出租車師傅常常不願意接單。但這也不是問題，酒店離莫高窟遊客中心很近，可以乘坐酒店的電瓶車到大門，再步行10分鐘左右就能抵達，到敦煌必看的《又見敦煌》與《樂動敦煌》的表演，也在莫高窟遊客中心旁邊，所以很方便。看完演出後步行到酒店大門，門衞會熱情幫忙叫免費電瓶車，輕鬆解決出行的小煩惱。
不得不説，酒店員工的服務培訓做得相當到位，每一位員工見到客人都會主動微笑打招呼，幫忙按電梯、開門，讓人倍感温馨。這次入住體驗依舊滿分，期待下一次重逢！

PPengguna Tetamu暑假去了這家星空民宿 不是神仙顏值了，住宿區旁邊竟然有一個小月牙泉湖，太漂亮了，房間設施也很完備，睡得很舒服，體驗真的很好，單獨出來的一塊區域，晚上很安靜，不會有摩託車經過，最最最重要的一點，那邊的星空真的好美，視野開闊，肉眼可見，沒有光污染，效果極佳，有條件的也可以在那邊燃放煙花，很美

22morrowsworldVisited Dunhuang on several occasions before but Bowen Hotel is the best considering its rating and price. It's a 4 star and only 150 CNY per night. For this you get a well appointed comfortable room with a view of the river. The rooms are well set out with plenty of space, power points and light switches where they are needed, and a stable reliable and secure wifi signal. The Hotel is situated about 300m east of Dunhuang museum. So, still within walking distance of night market main street, bars, memory box cafe, bus no.3 to Mingsha etc
The bathroom is good quality with a glass enclosure for the shower unit, which has lots of space. The hot water system is responsive and strong, over 24 hours (-10°C outside). Good quality towels and a floor mat are provided and replaced each day by the effecient room service staff.who keep rooms spotlessly clean. The queen sized bed is super comfortable- not too soft or too hard. The double boutique room also has a coffee table, sofa and matching foot rest.
I especially appreciated the gym on floor 7. Limited but useful equipment (treadmill, weights). Another useful feature is a laundry service - also on floor 7. I was fortunate enough to interact with the hotel manager, (who communicates in English very well) and she arranged a taxi late at night to Liuyuan. Overall a pleasant hotel experience in a great oasis town. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

FFongSand on floor on arrival. No towels at alll in the bathroom. I called reception for towels. Ok. Next day, the cleaners clean the room and remove the used towels but didn’t replace with new ones. Again I have to call reception to bring towels. My 3 nights there, the cleaning of the floors was really poor. Floors were not swept and I could see hairs on the floor. Ok. They were my own hairs, but still. Sweep the floor! Cleaners also do not remove used porcelain cups with clean cups. The furniture, and bedding are really nice. But shame about the poor cleaning job. Also, there is no place to hang up the towels in the bathroom. Very odd.

BBerrrrrrrrrWe got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly.
Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also.
Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area.
The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out.
I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

JJohannes Baattrup-AndersenThis is a very good place to stay while in Dunhuang. It's close to one of the big roads from which you can take a bus to Mogao Caves and not far from desert either.
It's quite hard to find, you have to go to the park on the opposite of the temple and then go to the shopping road across the park.
The host is very helpful, she helped us arrange a group day tour to Yumen Pass, the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, 1000 Buddha Caves and much more (it was a fantastic tour) for a very reasonable price.
The room was quite nice - there was a big bed, small table, nice bathroom and good lighting. It was also nice and tidy and cleaned daily.
I'd recommend other staying here and would definitely come back another time.

Overall hotel is fine and nice facilities but some amenities is missing. we need to request for shower cap and others from the front desk as they not arrange in the room. This hotel claim as 4 star but not provide any tea bag in the room when we ask the staff they said that hotel just open and the vendor still not sent T_T. Hope this could preparation in the future. I booked this hotel with free breakfast privilege's trip.com . The breakfast is very simple, free is ok but not worth if need additional charge.

PPengguna TetamuFrom the exterior the Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel looks like a traditional Chinese hotel. But the room is furnished with all the modern trappings that are so essential to a weary traveler. The bedroom and attached bathroom are very clean, hot showers readily available and the bed comfortable.
The hotel is right next to the Shazhou night market and within walking distance to all the transportation hubs which makes visiting Dunhuang attractions easy.
And the service team was fantastic. One and all they were approachable and very helpful. The lovely lady who checked us in not only upgraded our room but she even managed to get us seats on a Western Dunhuang tour which was one of the highlights of our already amazing trip!
Another recommended local dishes for us to try and we were amused to see the name of one such restaurant on a road sign!
In short we love Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel. Thank you lovely ladies for making our stay there a very satisfying one 👍

EemdethuongThis hotel accepts foreigners. Location is not far from Dunhuang night market. Reception is nice and welcoming although they did not speak english. Translation app will do just fine. 100rmb deposit at check-in and they will give you back at check-out if everything is fine. Room is small, quite old and basic. Smoking is allowed inside hotel floors so it felt really suffocationg. The faucet in the bathroom did not give hot water, only the shower did. The only thing I don’t like is the AC (also heater) emitted kind of a burning smell which made the room suffocated. I turned on for a while and turned off in order to sleep safely.
