酒店的位置很好，出門往左走不太遠到夜市，往右到黨河更近一些，河邊有個很好的敦煌主題書店，晚上也可以河邊走走。前台美女雙人間主動給升級了家庭房，意外之喜，房間裝修有格調，乾淨也安靜。早餐怎麼説呢，我到敦煌先住了另外一家，早餐更簡單，我看了半天好多都還沒有早餐，所以還是鼓勵為顧客提供早餐的店家，好歹一早能多吃些蔬菜。品質我感覺和地域有關，這裏的飲食習慣和我們差異有點大。總之滿意！

酒店步行到沙洲夜市大概10分鐘左右，非常近，可以感受敦煌夜生活的激情與浪漫，步行到反彈琵琶雕像也就5分鐘的路程，可以拍照留下美好瞬間，距離莫高窟和月牙泉景區也近，便捷出行，早餐非常豐富，值得推薦！感謝酒店的送站服務生，天很黑卻很準時！點贊👍

Very new hotel, quiet and comfortable rooms. The service was good, unfortunately the pool could not be used, because no water inside. Also the breakfast was a little poor. It is not bad, but a little expensive for the quality of the facilities. Dunhuang old city is very close.

沙漠中的這家酒店真是讓人驚喜連連！設施完善得讓人挑不出毛病住得超級舒服自在。玩樂項目也特別多每天都有新花樣讓人不會感到無聊。酒店設計充滿了當地特色讓人彷彿置身於敦煌的歷史畫卷中。服務也是超級好工作人員都超級友好熱情。晚上還能在沙漠裏看星星真是太美妙了！

衞生乾淨整潔，房間隔音好，不吵鬧，晚上從月牙泉回來睡的比較好，停車場可以免費停車，旅遊旺季，房間非常不好定，這家已經非常不錯，第二天起來看已經訂完了。

提前入住，歡迎水果，推遲退房，這還不算，給我們升級了房型，每個房間多送一份早餐。這個酒店對攜程會員的好，是真的好。房間寬敞明亮，整潔乾淨，視野好，近景可以看樓下小花園，遠景可遠眺鳴沙山。關鍵是服務也好，服務人員非常友好禮貌，特別感謝前台馬鴻莉小妹妹的熱情接待。特別提醒，酒店兩邊停車場都可以用，離場時要跟前台説，會幫客人打開閘門。

定了商務房間，辦理入住的小姐姐非常熱情，免費升級了豪華房型，國慶期間能住上這麼性價比高的酒店真的心情舒暢，酒店的人員服務意識也非常好，一到酒店門口就有禮賓幫忙開車門拉行李，一看就是經過專業培訓的。
大廳很氣派，客房也非常寬敞，乾淨衞生，還送了小零食和敦煌酸奶。非常棒！

非常棒的酒店!從服務員口中瞭解到是家國企酒店，確實工作人員服務周到熱情又專業。酒店去年新裝修的，漢唐風格，古樸温馨，設施完善，四星標配沒錯了。房間衞生乾淨整潔，乾濕分區，智能馬桶。有後花園，很安靜，夏季環境應該很愜意，可以户外鍛鍊和就餐，還有書吧，休息時候完全可以在書吧度過，酒店距離夜市、博物館、敦煌印局都很近，步行就到。早餐也是我吃過最豐盛的了，還有酒店的特色菜，其他地方沒有吃到過，給我留下了深刻的印象，下次還會來的。

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who were quick to assist me and answer all my queries. Their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile for their guests really stood out.

PPengguna Tetamu暑假去了這家星空民宿 不是神仙顏值了，住宿區旁邊竟然有一個小月牙泉湖，太漂亮了，房間設施也很完備，睡得很舒服，體驗真的很好，單獨出來的一塊區域，晚上很安靜，不會有摩託車經過，最最最重要的一點，那邊的星空真的好美，視野開闊，肉眼可見，沒有光污染，效果極佳，有條件的也可以在那邊燃放煙花，很美

PPengguna TetamuThe service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law.
The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers).
This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

22morrowsworldVisited Dunhuang on several occasions before but Bowen Hotel is the best considering its rating and price. It's a 4 star and only 150 CNY per night. For this you get a well appointed comfortable room with a view of the river. The rooms are well set out with plenty of space, power points and light switches where they are needed, and a stable reliable and secure wifi signal. The Hotel is situated about 300m east of Dunhuang museum. So, still within walking distance of night market main street, bars, memory box cafe, bus no.3 to Mingsha etc
The bathroom is good quality with a glass enclosure for the shower unit, which has lots of space. The hot water system is responsive and strong, over 24 hours (-10°C outside). Good quality towels and a floor mat are provided and replaced each day by the effecient room service staff.who keep rooms spotlessly clean. The queen sized bed is super comfortable- not too soft or too hard. The double boutique room also has a coffee table, sofa and matching foot rest.
I especially appreciated the gym on floor 7. Limited but useful equipment (treadmill, weights). Another useful feature is a laundry service - also on floor 7. I was fortunate enough to interact with the hotel manager, (who communicates in English very well) and she arranged a taxi late at night to Liuyuan. Overall a pleasant hotel experience in a great oasis town. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

TTorbsYou won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

FFongSand on floor on arrival. No towels at alll in the bathroom. I called reception for towels. Ok. Next day, the cleaners clean the room and remove the used towels but didn’t replace with new ones. Again I have to call reception to bring towels. My 3 nights there, the cleaning of the floors was really poor. Floors were not swept and I could see hairs on the floor. Ok. They were my own hairs, but still. Sweep the floor! Cleaners also do not remove used porcelain cups with clean cups. The furniture, and bedding are really nice. But shame about the poor cleaning job. Also, there is no place to hang up the towels in the bathroom. Very odd.

BBerrrrrrrrrWe got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly.
Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also.
Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area.
The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out.
I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

JJohannes Baattrup-AndersenThis is a very good place to stay while in Dunhuang. It's close to one of the big roads from which you can take a bus to Mogao Caves and not far from desert either.
It's quite hard to find, you have to go to the park on the opposite of the temple and then go to the shopping road across the park.
The host is very helpful, she helped us arrange a group day tour to Yumen Pass, the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, 1000 Buddha Caves and much more (it was a fantastic tour) for a very reasonable price.
The room was quite nice - there was a big bed, small table, nice bathroom and good lighting. It was also nice and tidy and cleaned daily.
I'd recommend other staying here and would definitely come back another time.

PPengguna TetamuFrom the exterior the Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel looks like a traditional Chinese hotel. But the room is furnished with all the modern trappings that are so essential to a weary traveler. The bedroom and attached bathroom are very clean, hot showers readily available and the bed comfortable.
The hotel is right next to the Shazhou night market and within walking distance to all the transportation hubs which makes visiting Dunhuang attractions easy.
And the service team was fantastic. One and all they were approachable and very helpful. The lovely lady who checked us in not only upgraded our room but she even managed to get us seats on a Western Dunhuang tour which was one of the highlights of our already amazing trip!
Another recommended local dishes for us to try and we were amused to see the name of one such restaurant on a road sign!
In short we love Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel. Thank you lovely ladies for making our stay there a very satisfying one 👍
