Have already stayed several times in the Carathotel. Everything is modern and practical. Though the rooms are not luxurious, they are very functional and beds are comfortable. Everything from check-in to check-out can be done online or at the check-in tablet stations. Great location to main shopping areas (Kö) and just 10 min walk to the main train station. Bonus are the fantastic luxury Edeka supermarket in the same building, as well as access to the very funky John Reed gym just around the corner for just EUR 5 through the hotel.

This hotel is the BEST in Dusseldorf. The service is beyond exceptional (esp Masood and Daniel- they went out of their way) The location is fantastic. Close enough to the old town and right across the beautiful Konigsalle shops and beautiful tree and water lined avenue. Great rooms and beautiful lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Ich muss sagen, dass mein dreitägiger Aufenthalt im Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Düsseldorf Seestern eine absolute Enttäuschung war. Trotz einer Reservierung im Januar und einem telefonischen Anruf, dass ich ein Zimmer in einem höheren Stockwerk entfernt vom Aufzug wünsche, wurde mir ein Zimmer im ersten Stock direkt neben dem Aufzug zugewiesen. Das Zimmer war auch noch Rollstuhlgerecht, obwohl ich explizit darum gebeten hatte, keins zu bekommen. Als ich mich beschwerte und darauf hinwies, dass ich vor Monaten eine entsprechende Buchungsänderung veranlasst hatte, wurde ich mit dem Hinweis abgespeist, dass der Empfang nicht die Zimmereinteilung macht und ich früher hätte kommen müssen. Meine Ankunft war jedoch nach 23 Uhr, also konnte ich nicht früher kommen. Weiterhin wurde mir erklärt, dass eine Gruppe Asiaten ihren Aufenthalt verlängert hatte und deshalb keine Zimmer frei wären. Das Zimmer selbst (Rollstuhlgerecht) sah aus, als ob es mehrere Tage oder sogar Wochen nicht bewohnt worden war. Es gab dreckiges Geschirr, der Sessel war kaputt, der Bürostuhl abgeschabt, es gab kein Bügeleisen und die Dusche war schimmelig. Als ich nach dem Manager fragte, wurde mir eine Karte ausgehändigt. Die Dame auf der Karte gibt es anscheinend nicht, da sie auch nach mehreren Tagen nicht einmal für notwendig empfunden hatte, mir den Eingang der E-Mail zu bestätigen, geschweige denn, eine Antwort zu geben. Besonders traurig ist auch, dass die Rezeption keinerlei Deeskalationsmaßnahmen angeboten hat, außer dass der Mitarbeiter nicht verantwortlich für mein Problem sei. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Düsseldorf Seestern nicht empfehlen. Der Service war unzureichend, die Zimmer abgewohnt und unangemessen teuer. Es gibt definitiv bessere Optionen in der Stadt.

Stayed for 2 nights on business..The hotel has a perfect location and is walking distance from Hauptbahnof..The rooms are of decent size..The breakfast menu is repetitive but the food quality is good..The staff is courteous and always available to serve you

Friendly staff that all spoke English. The location felt safe and was very quiet but still central. The room was nice enough and had enough space, and the hotel was comfortable with some artistic design. My room faced towards the direction of the old town but was silent at night, and quiet during the day even with the windows wide open. Plenty of hot water, but the towels were small and cheap. A coffee expresso machine in the room with coffee but no tea. The hotel looked a bit tired in places but nothing to worry about and repairs were ongoing. Unfortunately the advertised computer I needed was missing apparently broken. This was unacceptable and my only real complaint. No garden seating area. The breakfast was good with enough to choose from including hot food, but it finished early at 10:30. The English black tea wasn’t and was horrible, so British tea drinkers bring tea yourself. If passing I’d stay here again for sure.

Lovely hotel. Super conveniently located! Only 3 minutes walk from Düsseldorf main train station, 20 or so minute from DÜSSELDORF airport with taxi. Connected to several regional train lines. Right at the hotel entrance there is a tram stop, that would connect you to the whole city or take you with one min trip drive to the HBF. The hotel have a restaurant that offers an extensive breakfast buffet. They were on a soft opening phase, yet the breakfast is super exclusive, also have vegan and vegetarian options. The staff is super attentive and caring. Got a room with a balcony, a friend of mine with 2 kids got an amazing connected room in the ground floor overlooking the hotel garden! Suitable hotel for business travels, tourists who wanna stay in the hub of the city and families. I think the hotel have 2 buildings and both are elevator accessible and also for visitors with wheelchairs. I haven’t been in a meeting there but the hotel also offer meeting spaces and meeting rooms. I have seen the signs in the elevators. Wifi is available and free of charge too. I don’t have a car but my friend did. The hotel doesn’t offer a parking place, but it wasn’t a problem for us. There are parking places that are available around the main station area or in nearby parkings. Or you can park on the street around the hotel at an extra cost. It is a bit costly to park per hour, would recommend to park per 24 hour. Last but not least the hotel offers an amazing work area, with a huge table with plugs for laptops suitable for businessmen, students and anyone who would like to remotely work from a comfy convenient place. Prices are super suitable for coffee, drinks etc.

Séjour de deux nuits fin juin. Le personnel est absolument charmant, la literie est très confortable et le wifi fonctionne parfaitement... C'est bien mais voilà malheureusement les seuls points positifs que l'on peut trouver à cet établissement ! Non loin de la gare (ce qui n'est pas un inconvénient a priori), il est situé à l'angle de deux grandes rues très fréquentées jour et nuit : importants bruits de circulation à tout moment ! Un night shop juste en face draine les fêtards alcoolisés et autres marginaux : cela ne contribue pas à créer une ambiance zen et reposante. Les lieux eux-mêmes sont plutôt vieillots et la propreté générale assez limite; voire carrément douteuse. Une grosse impression de délabrement règne dans les parties communes. Malgré que l'hôtel soit étiqueté ”non fumeur”, notre chambre empestait le tabac froid : 48 heures non stop de fenêtre ouverte ne sont même pas parvenu à faire disparaître cette désagréable odeur... Sachant que notre chambre était au premier étage côté rue et juste aussi de l'espace de livraison, vous imaginez aisément le bruit dont nous avons pu bénéficier...Salle de bains petite mais efficace. Enfin, pas eu l'occasion de tester le petit-déjeuner : on n'en servait pas pour cause de Covid-19! Voilà, expérience très mitigée et prix largement surfait... il y a certainement (beaucoup) mieux pour (beaucoup) moins cher ! Conclusion : peu emballant !

I came to Düsseldorf because of Art Fair Düsseldorf and stayed 3 nights. Frankly speaking, I found rate of 140-145 Euro per room high for this quality. I also wouldn't take this place second time def. Despite it's located not that far from the center by feet (ca. 20 min) however, it made me so annoyed and tired because of super busy traffic constantly, so I had to keep closed windows, especially over nights, which was super uncomfortable for me due to lack of fresh air. So, if I had to stay longer in this city, I would def had to change hotel. However, I need to give compliment regarding very clean windows which gave a good impression. As for breakfast buffet, I can't say anything since I didn't have it. Good thing was a very big supermarket with great grocery selection and very good prices. Service and communication in hotel was ok.

Pleasant enough stay at a hotel highly convenient for the central train station, early morning flights and wanders into the Aldstadt. The single room I booked had the essentials, cleanliness and all things that make Germany have a reputation for efficency and pride in its values. The receptionist and team met my needs and requests. I would stay there again.

Checking into the hotel was fairly straightforward but two of our group were given rooms that were not clean / ready and the front desk staff had to prepare the rooms, one was given a free breakfast voucher. My room was clean , quiet and the bed was comfortable, Some of the water from the shower leaked into the main bathroom floor area even though i kept the glass door closed. The bar like house keeping was understaffed so you could not order food or drinks from the bar , but the staff eventually came to our table and subsequently messed up the drinks order . I had a good nights sleep.The buffet breakfast was very nice ,and there were plenty of staff to serve customers. The hotel itself is in a pleasant location , staff are generally friendly and hotel is clean and safe
