Elk View Lodge

A group of friends and I stayed at the Elk View Lodge in early Feb 2024, and we had a fantastic time there. The new owners and hosts (Bob & Carla) are some of the warmest and kindest people you will meet. They took care of my group as though we were family, and I can't say enough good things about the lodge. It was clean, comfortable, spaceous, a great location (the views!), and conveniently located to both downtown as well as the Fernie ski resort. I look forward to returning again one day! This is a gem of a lodge and I highly recommend it for those looking for accommodation in the Fernie area.

Spent Christmas with extended family at Elk View Lodge. It was truly a Hallmark Movie Holiday location. The lodge was grand and our private room with private bathroom had a loft for our daughters. We are a family of 5 (2 teenagers). The space was big enough to be together and allow privacy. My mother in law joined us and had a private room of her own. My Christmas present was being together as a family at Elk View Lodge. I loved the views from every window in a mountain panorama setting. The kitchen had high end appliances, fully equipped, and washing dishes looking at the mountains was enjoyable. It was nice to have a kitchen to cook meals and share the days stories around a family dinner table each night. The kitchen was also a meeting place to meet new people from around the world and exchange pleasantries. The Hosts Bob and Carla were warm and welcoming. Both Bob and Carla took time out of their day to genuinely inquire about our needs and share in our activities. We were blessed to be audience members of a small private Piano concert from a local (famous world re-nouned pianist). In addition, during our stay Carla played beautiful music for us on the Grand Piano. You can see Fernie ski hill from the lodge. Our family loves to snowboard and ski. The lodge has a huge room to dry your equipment and special dryers for gloves and boots. AWESOME EXTRA!!!!
