The room was small but had everything I needed, and the bathroom was also very clean. There was a hairdryer, water heater, and iron. It's quite close to Edinburgh Waverley Station, about a 10-15 minute walk. There are many restaurants near the hotel. However, the Wi-Fi wasn't great, with a very poor signal. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage. The bed was small, suitable for a single person. Also, remember to bring your own slippers and disposable toiletries, as the hotel only provides towels and shower gel. It offers great value for money; hostels were over 300, and this hotel was only slightly more expensive than a hostel.

Not great value for money for solo travelers. The front desk and room service weren't very good either.

Great location - clean & perfect stay

Hi the room I booked as very noisy (201) above the kitchens with the extractor fan just outside the window, I complained and got a upgrade which was nice roomy, but the bed was a bit hard. dont have the breakfast which was poor. Go to the Brunswick book club which is just around the corner which was far superior the hotels just for an extra pound. It’s just ok for for a few nights at this hotel.

Room is the smallest I have ever stayed in. We called reception to ask if there was another room which we were told no. It was obvious that the room was a single room with a small double bed squeezed in. I don’t know how 2 adults are expected to stay in that room.

Nice hotel, only a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station and a further 5 minutes from the Royal mile. Our double room was pleasant with a separate shower room.

Nice central hotel

Really enjoyed staying here, was right in the centre of where we needed to be. Nice and clean and a comfy bed. Great shower too.

Lovely hotel. From the outside it looks like a hotel you wouldn't normally bother with but inside was super bright and modern. Room was a bit on small side like you had to squeeze past the bed sideways to get to bathroom. Bathroom was very compact but we were fine with that. We only needed a bed and were not spending any great length of time in there. Location for us was perfect. Its a 15 min walk away from town and train station but in a good location with plenty of cheaper bars and close to the theatre and St James shopping. We had breakfast which was plentiful and fresh and not dried out like some breakfast buffets are. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others

This hotel is spacious and bright, offering plenty of room. The rooms are clean and tidy, and you can even prepare light meals there. The facilities are comprehensive, the bed is very comfortable, and it's quiet and peaceful at night. Thoughtful complimentary snacks are also provided in the room.

Stayed in the family room located on the 2nd floor. Spacious room with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed. Comfortable family room.
