Ulasan Prestonfield House

很好的酒店，就是疫情之後一直在漲價，是愛丁堡極具歷史價值的一個建築，成立於17世紀，丘吉爾撒切爾都曾入住。服務設施我都給滿分。缺點是漲價不停，尤其餐廳。

房間比較昏暗，設施有點老舊。但是周圍環境絕美，純英式早餐超讚。

一間百年修道院改建的莊園酒店，完全可以體會一下英國莊園生活。房間很舒適，清晨起床就可以看到窗外莊園的風景。

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The service is impeccable, food is outstanding and the hotel itself is gorgeous. I stayed in the owners suite which was so beautiful and made you feel like you were stepping back in time. The high tea was so nice and I enjoyed walking around the property. I can’t remember the name of the woman working the front desk but she was so kind and helpful!

Night away with my husband without our kids in a long, long time and we could not fault this hotel. It started with one of the doormen coming to our car with an umbrella as it was raining. We didn’t expect this and it was just a nice touch. We were greeted with a fantastic wizardry entrance to the hotel then in to staff who were attentive from the minute our feet touched the wool carpets to the minute we left. Beautiful suite, hotel and gardens, excellent service from start to finish and the breakfast was to die for. We will be back with kids in tow the next time. We have stayed at numerous “5 star” hotels in Scotland and further afield but this stay went above and beyond anything we had experienced before. Well done Prestonfield 👏

We haven't been for a stay at Prestonfield for some years and we were interested to find out if anything had changed. We had a fabulous stay with dinner two of the evenings in Rhubarb. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Chasing up our taxi to the town when they felt we waited too long, although we were quite happy to wait. The food in Rhubarb was exceptionally good, my only criticism would be that it would be good to have perhaps at least another one fish/seafood choice. Comfortable beds and lovely touches with cookies and chocolates in the room. We certainly will be back !

Absolutely wonderful stay at Prestonfield House. Everything was beautiful and of high quality, the decadent dramatic furnishings, the food and all the little extra touches in the room which made it even more special. We had afternoon tea on the day of our arrival which was delicious and presented beautifully. Breakfast was really lovely, especially the eggs benedict, with my eggs cooked to perfection. All the staff were extremely attentive, friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Luckily we had good weather, so it was nice to have a walk in the grounds and visit the friendly highland cattle! If youre looking for a hotel which is something a bit special and different from the usual, then I'd highly recommend a stay here. We can't wait to return next year.

As a Personal Tour Guide I recommend my Clients visit here for a special occasion. Yesterday I treated my Mother to High Tea to celebrate her 80th Birthday. From the moment we pulled up we were treated like Royalty. All of the staff we encountered were professional and personable. The food was delicious, the best High Tea we have ever experienced. Special thanks to Dylan who took great care of us. I’ll continue to recommend my Clients visit here for a wonderful experience and I’m looking forward to my future visit to sample the Chateaubriand!

I booked Prestonfield because it is associated with The Witchery, not only the finest restaurant in Edinburgh but also in Europe. The hotel is impressive set in glorious grounds and approached by a long drive and circular drop-off area. We were met by the greeting team who knew our names and took our luggage then showed me to the EV charging point for my Jag. Check in was fluid and faultless and we were shown to our room on the ground floor with walk in shower / wet room as I had recently had an operation on my ankle. A bottle of the glorious house champagne awaited us and we settled in. Dinner was in a beautifully appointed dining room with lovely views of the grounds. The food, chateaubriand, was excellent as was the service and the wines divine. The next day a taxi took us into Edinburg for a wet anniversary mooch around then back to the hotel to dress for dinner at The Witchery. The hotels complementary taxi service drove us to the restaurant - see my separate review of that. Following an excellent breakfast the next day we departed after a superb time at Prestonfield. We will definitely return.

Could not fault any aspect of our 2 night stay. We booked as returning guests for my birthday and we were delighted to receive an upgrade on arrival to the Allan Ramsay Suite. Afternoon tea was excellent with just the right balance between sweet and savoury which we enjoyed along with their own branded champagne. Breakfast has everything you could want and the eggs in cup were so delicious that we both had them each morning. The staff are extremely professional and provide an excellent level of service! Lunch in Rhubarb on our second day was again excellent and just what we needed after a long morning walk. It's not often everything is perfect but we couldn't find a single fault! Excellent value for money when compared to other comparable 5 star hotels. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning again soon :)

Was wowwwww!!!!! I can’t describe the feeling you have during our stay. The stuff so welcoming and warm, we had a nice dinner. Professional service, and very kind. The room was very clean, we got chocolates, red wine, sparkling and still water, very hot water in the shower. The music in the room make you feel special and like you are in a different atmosphere. We felt like small honeymoon night. Our room view was to Garden. What can i say more?? Absolutely yesss!!! We are definitely back!
