The hotel has amazing views of what Ella is known for. The service was good and the food and beverage options were great. Our group of nine were there only for one night and dined in. The rooftop bar and restaurant were perfect. The rooms were beautiful and clean and had everything necessary for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is located at the top of a very steep hill which is very difficult to access by car or tuk tuk. Be sure to call the Hotel on arrival into town as they will organise a shuttle transfer. The only area for improvement would be communication during booking. It was very difficult to contact the hotel and their responsiveness was poor. We used WhatsApp but even that was very slow compared to other hotels we booked during our trip to SL.

I would like to alert fellow travels about the business principles of this hotel, which is highly rates in tripadvisor. In early September 2024 I reserved three rooms through a reputable online booking website for check-in on 31 December and check-out on 1 January with breakfast and dinner included. The booking conditions also stated that payment was on the arrival day and cancellation free of charge up to 48h prior to the check-in date. At the end of November I am approached by this hotel bullying me into making payment and adding a compulsory $30 charge per person for dinner, both of which were in complete violation of the reservation policy. They never apologized and forced a cancelation on the grounds of a supposedly invalid credit card. I therefore caution any travelers considering booking this hotel to be mindful of the ruthlessness and bullying approaches of their reservation team and management.

Positive: 1) Very Nice View from rooms 2) Very Polite and nice staff Negative: 1) Extremely Over Priced 2) Not value for money 3) Apparently not managed by professionals as on first day of stay we didn't have basic stuff like WiFi in room, hot water & shampoo in bathroom etc 4) Location is not easy to access as cars can't reach there, Tuk Tuk can't take more than 1 person at a time due to steep height and normal person will struggle to reach on foot. Free shuttle only operates till 6pm.

What a steep hill to get up to the hotel! Even the Tuc Tucs would only take one person at a time or if they took two, then one had to get out half way up and walk the rest of the hill! We were not happy with our first bedroom as the toilet was so small and we are not small people, and the views from both windows were looking out to a building site and the other a large tree, so no view. We were transferred into another room, not great either but had large shower and toilet much bigger, as for the view it looked over the car park! Sometimes I think when you are in a small group they tend to just shove you into any room?? This was our only complaint. Dining room lovely as was the food. We were initially asked to complete an order form for breakfast and duly submitted it but next morning it was a buffet, so they must have changed their minds?? Room was clean and staff very friendly. The pool on the roof was cold but great to have a swim with a view. The little bar and dining area on the rooftop was lovely and we enjoyed the cocktails and dinner. I would recommend it but would want to make sure that I got a room with a view?

I recently made a reservation directly on this hotel’s website and received an on-screen confirmation, which reassured me that my booking was secure. However, the following day, I received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled with no explanation or apology. Reaching out to the hotel for clarification proved challenging, and when I finally connected with someone, I was simply told that the hotel was fully booked on my selected date—again, without any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I’m disappointed by the lack of customer care and communication. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected more transparency and courtesy when handling guest reservations. I would caution others considering booking here, as similar issues could easily disrupt their plans as it did mine.

What an amazing hotel!!! Beautiful views, the best infinity pool ever, great food and lovely staff. We arrived late to a really warm welcome. We had an evening meal and breakfast at this hotel … both were excellent. The bed and pillows in our room were the best ever!! Highly recommended … I wish we’d stayed longer!

Fantastic views. Took scores of photos. Chique little town. Surrounded by tea plantations and waterfalls. Only regret is we should have stayed longer. Narrow road upto to hotel only with hotel transport. Lovely rooftop infinity pool and cafe/bar

Beautiful view at the top of the hotel with a nice pool. Great service of Sanjana!! We just visited the hotel as a guest for the swimming pool and rooftop bar. So nice that they offer this for non-guests of the hotel. Thank you so much for the nice afternoon Sanjana.

The hotel is wonderful ! Very nice location! The view on the mountains is just wow ! Breakfast is good with international and local touch. The staff is very kind and helpful. Very professional. I would just give a special thanks to Sanjana who made our stay amazing.
