Nice, comfortable hotel in a great location in Ennis. We booked 2 rooms for our family of four for 1 night, at the tail end of our visit to Ireland. Not far from Cliffs of Moher, and easy drive to Shannon airport. We had dinner at Preachers Pub, a very cool place. Also great breakfast at Legends Restaurant with fast & friendly service. Deinitely recommend.

Great hotel, no noise, spotlessly clean and great location. Have no complaints will be back again. Central location was within walking distance of shops. Staff very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Food and drink were excellent. Couldn’t be better

My wife and I went to the Temple Gate Hotel from Thursday to Sunday. Package offered was 3 nights b&b and dinner on one night. Excellent value. The hotel is excellent and we were both very happy with our experience. Staff are top quality right through the hotel. Professional and helpful. They are an asset to this hotel and ensure that guests enjoy their time in the Temple Gate. Congratulations to management on their recruitment process. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Bedroom service is excellent with attention to detail. Food was top quality both in Preachers Bar and Legends restaurant. Definitely would recommend both. One small disappointment was the fact that both had only a selection of 3 red wines on the wine list. However this is a comment and certainly not a complaint. The situation of the hotel is in the town making it easy to explore Ennis. Right beside Daniel O'Connell's statue. Fantastic hotel parking. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would strongly recommend this hotel. We definitely plan to return and enjoy another fantastic stay. Thank you to all the staff.

Stayed at The temple gate hotel on a Friday, booked in with no problem, room was very basic for the price (forgot to take photos!) but it was very clean and had the basics you need for an over night stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, actually all staff we had contact with were all very friendly. Location ideal town centre behind the hotel but very quiet (we stayed in room 303) Breakfast was ideal, from fresh pastries juices fruits etc to lots of options for cooked breakfasts too, which was cooked and presented perfectly. Parking is just outside the hotel anchovies if it’s full there’s additional parking too right outside and it’s free. No problems with the internet.

The Hotel and staff were brilliant with any queries. The room had everything we need and with the window left opened at night it was silent outside. The food in the preachers bar was fantastic. It's right in the middle of the town but you would think it with how quiet it is.

Great location in Ennis, easy access to pubs and restaurants. The hotel itself is really nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are a good size. Bathrobes were in the room, which is a nice touch. Everything was very clean. The bar is lovely with a large selection of beers and spirits. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free parking outside the front door. Would stay there again

This was my 2nd time to stay at the Hotel for a two night stay on each occasion whilst doing the Ring of Clare cycle. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is a bit dated but very clean. The menu and food in the bar were top class on both my stays, the breakfast could be improved some more in terms of value and quality, the full Irish was quite small on all occasions and bacon was overcooked. I would not hesitate to stay at the Temple Gate in the future as overall it was a great experience.
