Sea Lagoon Health Resort

This resort saved our holiday as we couldn't stay in the accommodation we had booked as it wasn't fit for purpose We chanced apon this hotel while looking about for somewhere to stay and were so impressed by the staffs service over lunch we decided to book for a few nights The rooms are decorated in an old fashioned dark wood style very spacious and clean. We had a great balcony over looking the pool and back waters it was so peaceful. The food was excellent and they tried their best to cater to my daughters allergies. Staff members were fluent in several languages and courteous at all times The water pressure was a bit low in the showers but considering where you are that wasn't an issue

My first experience in this hotel was not wow. The way its showing in photos was live is completely different. the one room small reception the hotel is on right side of the rode so don’t expect the lake and beach in one hotel. The sea side area is just to sit there as it was showing in photo with food, some other stuff nothing like that is there. The food they serve only in pool side area. That too with limited options when we went there. I will more details describing in the following: Room: its old Property with some change in the interior. But actually the room and the washroom is very basic if you don’t add photos effects as they did in their original listing so you will find annoying once you enter the room. Service: i have reached there at 5 o clock so there was hardly time for service. I called them twice they were available in minutes so Its fine. Food: food is expensive number one, number two its not available what they have give in menu. For me that was more annoying then price. The quality of the food is not good even in some of other five start hotels i stayed during my karela trip. Bcoz i am from north the taste for me in everything is dull and just not good. So same things was here. Breakfast: horrible only omelette, puri with sabzi and fruit bananas, watermelon and one banana shake. Too much banana. Location: The location of this hotel is good. In left side there is sea and on right side there is lake. If you want sea book hotel on the left side on the road. Swimming pool: it was good i see lot of people enjoying in the pool. I hardly swing so can’t say much. Over all i will give this hotel 5/3 with cost i have paid.

The rooms were slightly dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a nice swimming pool which opens early so you can swim before breakfast. Breakfast was good with lots of choice Indian and international. The beach is nearby. Staff were helpful

We stayed 2 nights. Nothing was working in the room. there was a TVbut not working. There was no hot water. The AC was not working. The kettle was not working. In a nutshell nothing in the room was working. We had to keep calling the reception for everything till midnight. There was no WiFi.. The food was also not that great. I will not recommend anyone to this place. Please do not go there. It was not worth the money we paid.

We visited this restaurant in ovtober 23 because my wife had her birthday. We met Akshay, the brilliant host, and he gave us a most wonderful treatment and experience. He is albe to speak several languages, and he had good understanding about the need of foreigners. He even served a cake because of my wife birthday. I can recommend this place, and then ask for Akshay, he will to your service. Thank you so much👍

4/5 rating is for location only, but please do not go with the images shared; the adjoining restaurant is closed; this resort has no maintenance; We spent scary sleepless nights there because huge rats and bats enter and run around their AC ducts in all rooms all throughout the day and especially at night, as if the whole false ceiling is going to come down anytime; the cost of the food is exorbitant; breakfast spread is just pathetic with oily bhaturas and chholeys and same idli/pancakes every day; we stayed there for 6 nights and we never got any variety even like Dosa a single day; Reception staff is not welcoming either due to their language constraint or unprofessionalism; The person I spoke to for booking disappeared without letting me know or providing me an alternate contact; I was aghast when I had to present proof of my dinner inclusion in our package to get the complimentary dinner; No one is bothered about promotion of local tourism; we had to struggle to get a cab driver's number from them; The only support we got was from the house keeping guys who tried helping us to solve our problems. But since there is no process defined, they could not help much. Try to avoid this property please. We can't bring back our lost holiday time but can ensure others don't fall prey to their wrong promises.

Great stay just at the cherai beach side. Near and clean rooms, quick service, good food. Standard quality toiletries. Umbrella on de***d. Good swimming pool. Polite staff. Early check in's possible if room is available which we got fortunately. We had a good stay here.

This is one of the most magnificent beach resort I have ever booked having more pros than cons. Pros: 1) Near to Beach though beach view is not visible from the rooms. 2) Marvelous Swimming Pool with clean and warm water and closeness to the backwater enhance its beauty. 3) Spacious and Well-maintained rooms with a Lobby with an impressive swimming pool and backwater view. 4) Caring and Supportive staff with excellent service, especially Reh***, who takes care of our wishes in Dining very well. Cons: 1) Some issues with the Air Conditioner that sometimes stop working and hard to increase/decrease the temperature. 2) Issue with Electric Kettle that was later resolved. Overall excellent experience staying in this beach resort that is having breathtaking views from all corners.

Actually it was a bit disappointing. We were expecting a 5 star hotel, but received a very average 3 star experience. It was not very clean, especially bathrooms and pool. Customer services was same. No one was opening the gate for us when we arrived and when we asked for hair drier they gave us a very small and dirty drier that didnt work. Overall, that whole town is not nice, very busy, dirty and without a pathway for people to walk, so we would not recommend to stop there unless you have to.
