Ikos Andalusia

When can we go again? We recently returned from a blissful 10 days at Ikos Andulasia. This is the first time we have been on an all-inclusive holiday and wow, take us back already! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with outstanding service and immediately left the stresses of daily life behind. The resort is beautifully laid out with stunning landscaping and stylish interiors. We were fortunate enough to stay in deluxe (would highly recommend) and had access to some additional benefits, such as separate pool area and the restaurant Seasons. All restaurants were fantastic, our favourites being Seasons, Fresco and Anaya. Service and food were fantastic. Harry in Seasons was both attentive and funny. A big thank you to all the staff by the Deluxe pool who looked after us so well and where nothing was too much trouble. A big shout out to Maria and her outstanding crew, Shannon, Dora, Christina, Andrea & co. Tasos, the hotel manager, you were incredible! You made our stay super special and memorable. We loved your little check in visits when lounging by the pool, such excellent service. It is clear how much you care about your staff and the guests, it couldn’t be managed better; everything ran so smoothly. Katerina on the deluxe desk was an absolute delight, always smiling and super helpful. And so, many congratulations to Tasos and his vast team. We WILL be back, and of course in the meantime will be highly recommending that our friends visit too :)

Amazing resort for luxury, incredible food, drinks, and dining experiences, and activities. Stayed for 10 nights at Ikos Andalucía, and the range diverse dining experiences at a resort was the best I've had, especially as someone who’s gluten-free and dairy-free. Special thank you to exemplary service and care from Lenka, our F&B concierge who helped with my reservations and dietary requirements every single day! Also to mention Alex at Seasons, and Natalia at The Beach Club for all the green juices and being super helpful. Huge compliments to all the chefs and catering team for such exquisite and tasty food and for the allergen menus - best i've seen so far. There are soo many pools to choose from, for adults, kids, everyone and secluded ones. The breakfast options are amazing. You can go to many restaurants for breakfast to mix things up. I loved Ouzo as their chia-seed pudding and acai bowls were beyond gorgeous for a great start to the day. Flavors buffet was incredible, with so many options clearly labelled – from fresh chia seed pudding made with almond and soya milk to individually wrapped gluten-free cakes, bread, cereals, and freshly squeezed juices. The food across all restaurants was outstanding: the prawns at the beach restaurant cooked with garlic and chilli were unforgettable, the babaganoush at Chiringuitos was fresh smokey and full of flavour, and the superfood salad at Seasons was hands down one of the best salads. Every detail in every part of the resort felt thoughtful, modern, and luxurious, and the staff were so accommodating and knowledgeable about dietary needs. The only one thing is, whilst there's a beach its very windy and stoney, so I didnt go for a swim in tbe sea once during the stay as a) sea was way too cold in Sept and b) too stoney to swim in. There was loads of kite surfers and it was fab to watch from Seasons (the Deluxe restaurant). Also days or evenings out in Estapona are a must! You get 1 x 3 course meal & bottle included to dine out, plus its a lively and very authentic old town with lovely shops, and theres a shuttle bus daily to take you there and collect you. I did go to the gym and do hiit and yoga/pilates classes and the gym equipment is beyond epic. The trainers are all excellent too. The machines are modern and have all these tech features on like the weights and running machine. They have small ikos branded waters in there and towels. You also get a Tesla for the day to go into town. (Didn't get time to do it though!) It was my first time staying in an IKOS resort and I'm so impressed that I'd definitely look to stay at other resorts in the future.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service! Ikos resorts never disappoint, this one was my favourite. The garden room was so lovely, the food and drinks were incredible and we all enjoyed the heated pools! We were very lucky with the warm weather, but we honestly cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend this gorgeous place!

A few words about the Chiringuito restaurant in IKOS Andalusia. This is situated on the perfect beach, with stunning views over the sea. The food is to die for. Delicious fish and prawns in garlic that melt in your mouth. I have to sing the praises of the excellent manager Darko and all the wonderful waiters - namely George. George looks after you in an exceptional way, and Darko manages to make each person feel special by ensuring a wonderful atmosphere and mouthwatering menus, of which he’s very proud. Every person working there are very polite, keen, helpful, always smiling and very kind. There is always a vast array of wines, and delicious Sangria. If you have the opportunity, having dinner under the stars is very special. I’d recommend Chiringuito restaurant as the highlight of the resort!! Malgosia

I’m just updating my review after leaving a review half way through my stay. The best parts: - The food and drinks were excellent in every restaurant. - The facilities are exceptionally clean. - The staff are all very friendly and excellent with children. - There’s a lot to do. Hire a Tesla, go for a bike ride, catch a complimentary bus into one of the local towns, use the spa, football, basketball, netball, gym. All of the amenities are top quality too … for example, the gym looked like it had everything and there was an large outdoor gym too. I would say it’s the best hotel I’ve been too and a lot of the people we spoke to said it’s the best IKOS hotel they’ve stayed at. The parts that could be better: - Unfortunately, the weather has been poor for much of our stay and they only allow children in the indoor pool 1-2 hours a day when the weather is poor. On more than one occasion we got the WhatsApp through 15-45 mins after the pool was opened. - The main park is quite basic and not really suited for younger toddlers e.g. there’s no swings for little ones that stop them falling off the seat. Also, the floor is made of a really fine gravel which gets in the little ones shoes and hurts their feet. - The queue to be seated in the buffet can take a while to go down at peak times. Restaurants: - The beach bar food was great and the best food we had overall. - Chringitos was the best place we ate lunch and you only have to queue up 10 mins before to get we a seat. - Provence was excellent too and had the best views at sunset. Shoutouts: - Laura at the crèche was really kind and friendly and great with our toddler. - Miriam the cleaner was also very friendly and great with our toddler. - Samuel the waiter at Anaya and Michaela the waitress at Provence were both very attentive, friendly and stood out from the others. - I ended up sitting next to Pedro Barranco González, one of Sani IKOS’s directors, and his family. We got talking and it was refreshing to see someone so passionate about the company, their work and he went out of his way with recommendations and following up with me. You’ve got a great member of the team in Pedro.

We had an amazing week in the new 4 bedroom deluxe villa. Our host Dennis was perfect, and made our stay even more perfect, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t sort. The food at all the restaurants offered great variety. The whole resort was immaculate, would highly recommend staying here
