nice service and breakfast

Lovely hotel about 5-8mins from train station, great location as we were visiting Exeter University so about 15-20mins walk away. The staff were friendly and they had a great breakfast selection. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely little hotel, a proper old fashioned establishment with character. I stayed for 3 nights in a twin room on the top floor ( just be aware that the lift only goes to the second floor!) . Beds were clean and comfy, rooms quiet, nice en suite with shower. The breakfast buffet well stocked ( although perhaps the tiny cereal boxes could be replaced with tubs?) - I don't have cooked breakfasts so can't comment on those but there was a menu of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Places to eat within walking distance. Car park outside and permits for on street for longer stays ( £5 per day) and I got the bus from the end of the road).

Overall really good experience staying here. Friendly staff and competitive price! Breakfast good.

Friendly & Accommodating Staff. Great Location walking distance from Exeter Central Station and Exeter University to City Centre. Room and Bed is very comfy and warm. I will stay again here and I highly recommend this hotel to my friends and others who looking to stay in Exeter Central.

Top floor room in a 1980s building, partly pitched roof, medium sized room, city view, large bathroom. Clean and tidy, good service. Breakfast is comparable to any restaurant on the high street.

This is beyond expectation. The hotel service is good. Snacks are prepared attentively and there is a kettle. The room is spacious, warm and comfortable. The only drawback is that the floor is wooden and the sound insulation is not very good.

The hotel is located near the city and is very convenient. The service staff are very friendly. The breakfast is rich and delicious. All the staff work hard to provide hospitality. It is very close to the Central train station within walking distance.

Old, small traditional English hotel, very clean and cozy. The breakfast was amazing.

Booked for the child, upgraded the room for free, the room was clean, the waiter was polite and enthusiastic, and the breakfast was good!

Very traditional local hotel, the front desk is very welcoming and will explain everything clearly. Breakfast is included and very authentic.
