Travelodge Exeter M5

There are no lift and it is a challenge if you have large luggage to handle.

Parking was available there was plenty of spaces. The room was great it was clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable the other facilities were also good. The location of the travelodge was in a great place for the event we were going too.

You know what you get with a Travel Lodge. That's sometimes useful. They are - in my experience - always clean and comfortable. Be aware of the poor signage to find the car park entrance with this Lodge! It's very near the entrance of the services on the right. The sign is tiny and hard to see in the dark.

I have to say that the experience was very positive. The initial booking was easy, and that comes from someone who is not tech savvy. The most important thing in the room is of course the bed, whether you are there for one night or more , and it was very comfortable. We bought into the breakfast package which was well presented and adequate. The staff were welcoming and available. Ok there is some upgrading needed in the room with two chairs having seen better days but still functional. I appreciated the gentle reminders to folk coming in late with notices asking folk to SHUSSSSS ! I would have no hesitation in returning .

Great location, lovely and clean buildings and rooms. The young staff were all extremely helpful, professional and polite. I had a problem with slow speed WiFi in my room on check in. They were able to swap my room almost immediately, where the WiFi was much much better. Rooms are clean and basic, as are all Travelodges, the whole interior building was clean and tidy. I would have given 5*, but the interior is tired, scuffed and in need of lots of TLC. But the staff were really helpful and professional, so I would definitely stay again

Really nice , clean hotel. I only met one member of staff , Marcus who was in reception....he was lovely, really pleasant and friendly. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained and considering where the hotel is (M5) it was surprisingly quiet !! We went to watch the Chiefs and I'd have no hesitation in booking this hotel again, the next time we come up. Also plenty of tea, coffee etc.
