Friendly staff, slow checkin, even though we had pre-checked as BonVoy member. Huge costume party in the conference room. Sound didn’t bother us. No real restaurants, but a bar and grill. Limited menu, but the food was ok. Room a little dingy. Sheets torn on bed. Hotel gives the appearance of being tired. Needs a refresh.

Such a nice hotel! The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious. I appreciated the free shuttle to the airport.

Lokasi sangat baik, di tingkat bawah adalah pusat membeli-belah yang besar, terdapat teh penghormatan berhampiran, dan persekitarannya juga ok, tetapi bantalnya sangat sukar untuk tidur, saya tidak pernah tidur begitu tidak selesa, saya dan suami melakukannya sepanjang malam Bangun dari mimpi. If you can avoid it, stay away! Come here only if you don't want to rest/sleep. It has been a very long time since I've experienced such a huge oversight by a hotel. But clearly Marriott Suites has done it! Each room has two fire detectors, one in the living area and another in the bedroom. And each fire detector has two VERY bright green LEDs that blinks every 3 seconds. The fire detectors in each room are so bright that they will light up the room every 3 seconds when the lights are turned off. What an oversight by a normally very thoughtful brand. The constant blinking of the fire detectors caused my entire family to not sleep until I climbed on a swirl chair to cover the LEDs with tape. Marriott, remember that you're a hotel chain, where people get a night's rest to work or vacation during the day. Your value proposition is providing customers with a bed and a place to rest/sleep. These fire detectors defeat the entire purpose of your product, brand, and goal! Get new fire detectors! There are fire detectors that don't even have LEDs! Very disappointed by this oversight. Caused a lot of trouble and headache for my kids and our vacation. An absoluate unbelievable blunder! Clearly the people that manage this property have not stayed at their own hotel. This is what happens when companies sell what they don't know, customers suffer!

Room was clean and modern with sufficient USB ports to charge all devices. Food choices across the street. My only complaint was that at my Saturday afternoon check-in I had arranged for a 2 p.m. Sunday late check-out as I had a morning activity. I returned from my activity at noon, went to my 4th floor room to discover my key had been deactivated. I then had to go back down to the desk for them to tell me my key was automatically deactivated at 11 a.m. even though their system did show I had arranged for a late checkout. I'm not sure if this is a system problem or a human one.

Was skeptical due to reviews re: cleanliness and condition. We usually stay at Embassy, but for nights we needed the price was double. I called and was assured rooms were renovated, I made the reservation asking for reno. room. Upon arrival I again asked for reno room & was told they've all been done. I went to the room, inspecting bathroom, bedding, floors etc....Room was clean and had been updated, shower looked new, no mold. I will say there were some paint splatters on floor, a cpl marks on door, but that can happen the day after work is done. Kitchen decently supplied for 2 travelers, including can opener- also kitchen appliances all clean. Xtra sheets/blankets for pull out, if needed. Room was on back side and quiet. All employees I ran into were friendly. My only concern would be regarding breakfast. Hours are 6-9am during week. 2 of our 3 days at our 8am arrival a few items were empty & not replenished the half hour we were there ie fruit, muffins, juice, water. Basic pre-made breakfast which is fine, but if serving til 9 then items need to be available. Perhaps back-up prepped and ready to refill as needed. I understand if all goes out at once, ppl tend to over-serve. And more guests came after us to eat breakfast, I also believe breakfast area furniture could use a redo. Was pleasantly surprised to see nice outdoor patio area to sit. Seeing the renovation of the room here wants me to notify Embassy they're now do for a redo, they're rooms are worn compared to Homewood. The only benefit to Embassy is fresh cooked breakfast, but for 150/night vs 290, it's not that special. I'm not sure why there are other posts within the past 6 months of poor conditions at Homewood, unless all the reno. wasn't completed then. This will be our new Herndon place to stay as long as it remains as is. Thank you for a great experience.

The room was comfortable and clean. The two beds were soft and comfortable. Tea and coffee maker was provided. The rooms and linen were clean. The room had a study table and a sofa. There was enough storage space. It was a comfortable stay in a cozy room. The common breakfast area on the ground floor was small. So there might be a long queue at breakfast time in peak seasons.

Our family makes this our base for Northern Virginia weekend visits. It's usually a bit more affordable than other two bedroom suites in Herndon. Outdoor common areas are well shaded, with plenty of grassy areas to walk a dog. Walking paths are nearby with access through the townhouse development to the west. Giant and CVS are in a shopping center about a mile away. The suites themselves are clean and well maintained. Kitchen area is adequate with a full size fridge and microwave, plus built in range top burners. No oven. Bedrooms are good size with separate closet spaces. Bathrooms are clean with enough towels, shampoo, etc. Breakfast has suffered a bit from COVID restrictions; no more fresh fruit, mainly packaged breads, yogurt, hard boiled egg, plus one cooked item that rotates daily.

Two one night stays. Fairly standard Courtyard. Night 1 - front desk agent less than interested; and further less interested in dealing with parking. But he did confirm the 24/7 IAD shuttle service that was advertised with the parking. Shuttle to airport - frankly a fairly unpleasant gentleman; although he kept his word about leaving on time. Night 2 - I called for the shuttle from IAD. Nope - not available. Had to take an expensive Lyft ride. I asked that front desk agent about the shuttle and he told me management discontinued the 24/7 service. Any notice given? Nope. The 24/7 shuttle is still advertised on the parking website, so buyer beware. The whole reason I stayed at this property was that the two nights with the parking and the 24/7 shuttle were for a reasonable price and met all my needs.
