Premier Inn Felixstowe Town Centre

Always stay at this hotel, excellent position for the beach and town, the staff are exceptional, room always clean and comfortable,plenty of car parking spaces. The food at breakfast was very good and plenty of choice, in all a great place to stay.

Clean and comfortable rooms as would expect The service from start to finish by Hayley was great looked after us daily at meal times and was always happy to help Hotel in great condition clean warm and tidy and again Hayley always offering welcoming smile and helped with any enquiries

There was a problem when we arrived at 1am as the computer said our room was occupied so the member of staff went to have a look and found it wasn’t but still moved our room as she said the computer wouldn’t let her book us into our original room. We were booked into room 216. We’ve stay here before in summer with no problem at all and enjoyed our stay which is why we returned for this 4 day stay. As we entered the room we noticed a damp smell but to be honest while I would have usually asked to be moved the already long check in process due to the room issue and the lateness of the day and having driven a very long way we were too tired and just thought the room would air during our stay. I tried to open a window but the windows are sealed. The room never really aired properly despite having both the heater and cooler on, though it’s annoying as this keeps going off. Our towels never really dried and I swapped them on a housekeeping trolley due to this. The bed felt damp as did the spare bed when I sat on it. Despite running the fan the windows were dripping wet with the water going onto the carpet so it’s no wonder there’s a damp smell. The room was spotless clean there was no problem with that but the damp smell really put us off and we won’t return.

This was my first time at a Premier Inn and I wasn't disappointed. My room was clean and spacious and everything worked. I found the staff friendly and helpful, suggesting a place to eat when the restaurant was closed. I intend to stay here again.

The restaurant was great the best steak we have had in a while. Compliment to the chef holly. Front of house lottie was fab so welcoming and friendly even though menu was limited we still had lots to choose from. Room lovely very clean and bed very comfortable.

For the price, the room was good, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were excellent. However, the food was very disappointing, especially the breakfast, which was not up to Premier Inn’s usual standard (by a long way). I swear, if I’d thrown my fried egg on the floor it would have bounced - and the rest of the breakfast wasn’t much better.
