Hotel Emma Small Luxury Hotel

What a lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are small, but comfortable and clean, staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating, breakfast was wonderful. It is about a 20-25 minute walk from downtown, but a nice quiet alternative, with wonderful nearby restaurants and shopping. Our trip started in Florence, we then went to Sorrento and back to Florence for a night before heading to Rome. We cancelled our downtown hotel and came back to Hotel Emma. Wonderful value for what you get.

On arrival you do have stairs to contend with but once inside you will find a very clean and beautifully decorated hotel. Breakfast was very good and plenty to chose from and catered for all food allergies. The terrace was tastefully decorated with small orange and lemon trees. The rooms were very clean and well presented. The staff are very friendly and informative, nothing was any trouble for them , even booking a taxi etc., for our onward journey. Only a 20/25 min walk to the centre of Florence.

We arrived around 8 pm on a Sunday, but we found a cozy little wine bar (other drinks, too) just a couple three blocks' walk. Very nice bartenders, and no other tourists. Our room was very clean, if a bit small. The stairs to get up to the hotel door itself, once you go into the building were a little bit of challenge with luggage, but I'm reaching for something to criticize. Breakfast was great; lots to choose from (look at the pictures). Very nice, cozy terrace overlooking the city to sit and have your coffee and breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Emma. We received a warm welcome (despite arriving a little bit too early) and some really useful guidance about the local bus and areas of interest. The room was exceptionally clean, plenty of room, ventilation and black out curtains. The bed was comfy, plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. If you use a decent hairdryer, I would suggest bringing your own as the one provided is the hoover nozzle type and not particularly efficient for long hair. Breakfast was continental buffet which included boiled eggs and fabulous coffee. 2 important points - the hotel is up stairs and it is 20 min walk from the main attractions. It doesn’t sound far but after a day of exploring the city, it’s torture!! Taxis only run from taxi ranks so you can’t flag one down. So whilst it shouldn’t put you off as this hotel is excellent value, I would suggest becoming familiar with the bus route early on!!

Sono stato in questa struttura per 2 notti, dal 16 al 18 dicembre, con mia moglie. Esternamente l'albergo sembra datato, ma una volta all'interno cambia completamente. La camera era in ordine, pulita e molto comoda. La colazione è negli standard dei due stelle. Il centro è raggiungibile in bus (fermata a pochi passi), ma anche a piedi. Ottima posizione per chi deve recarsi allo stadio. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale molto disponibile

Hotel molto carino, un po’ fuori dal centro ma facilmente raggiungibile con l’autobus o con 20 min di camminata. Camera pulita quotidianamente, un po piccolo il bagno ma assolutamente funzionale. Personale accogliente e molto gentile. Colazione mediterranea minimal ma ottima e sopratutto: il caffè e i cappuccini sono fatti come al bar e non alle macchinette!!

Ho soggiornato in questo piccolo hotel per il ponte di Ognissanti con la mia famiglia. Le camere sono completamente ristrutturate, ottima la pulizia e la cordialità del titolare sempre disponibile ad offrire un ottimo caffè. Il centro dista circa 20 minuti a piedi, altrimenti c'è una comoda fermata del bus proprio sotto l'ingresso. Ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo.

Pessima esperienza. Abbiamo prenotato tramite booking in questo hotel ad agosto in una camera doppia. La formula era con cancellazione gratuita e con pagamento in struttura. A pochi giorni dal mio soggiorno a Firenze, mi mandano una mail per chiederci l'orario del check in, dopo poco arriva una nuova email dove dicevano che la prenotazione era cancellata perchè avevano provato a fare un prepagamento sulla nostra carta non andato a buon fine. Proviamo a chiamare, mandare email, sia al mattino che al pomeriggio ma nulla, nessuna risposta. Ricontrollo su booking per vedere se si trattava di un malinteso o se effettivamente la prenotazione era stata cancellata dalla struttura e vedo che non solo era stata cancellata ma era di nuovo disponibile anzichè a €250 a €500 e piu' per 2 notti. A pochi giorni dalla partenza e con pagamento in struttura è inammissibile questo comportamento. Non hanno neanche provato a chiamarci per avvisarci, l'hanno annullata e basta. Abbiamo provveduto subito a prenotare un altro hotel in zona trovando per fortuna disponibilità. Diffidate da questo hotel, poca serietà e professionalità. Sarà bello pure l'hotel come dalle foto ma come trattamento valgono meno di zero. Da evitare se non volete ritro

Sono stato a Firenze per il week end. Ho trovato questo piccolo, ma grazioso albergo. Accoglienza fantastica seppur eravamo in anticipo. Abbiamo trovato la camera molto pulita e in ordine. Bagno abbastanza grande e spazi giusti. Bollitore in camera con kit di Tisane e Ginseng. Letto comodissimo. Colazione abbondante a buffet che si può fare in terrazza all'aperto. Manca ascensore e l'hotel è ubicato al secondo piano, quindi sconsigliato per chi ha problemi di movimento. Mezz'ora buona dal centro a piedi, ma si può fare. Parcheggio in zona a pagamento su strisce blu. La Domenica non si paga.. Consigliato. Grazie a Domenico per l'accoglienza. Giacomo da Mantova
