The hotel service was good, though the facilities were a bit dated. The space was quite large, and there's a bar downstairs, which makes for a lively nightlife. They also have a self-service kitchen where you can cook pasta for free, which I really enjoyed. Overall, it's a hostel I liked a lot.

Fantastic location — just a short walk from Firenze SMN train station and all the main attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, giving great local recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social, with fun evening events and a cozy common area to relax or meet other travelers. The room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was simple but nice. The room had a slight damp smell and the air circulation wasn’t great, so it could feel a bit humid at night.

This hostel is great for meeting other travelers, as they have activities every night. The front desk staff were also friendly and polite, which was a pleasant experience.

I joined a dinner with a group of people in the hostel. Had fun! Staff is friendly and nice.

The location was great, within walking distance from the main railway station. The luggage storage service was also good. However, the facilities were old.

I would 100% stay here again. We booked a 6pax female room and we got a whole section of the room completely to ourselves with bunk bed and our own bathroom/table area. Staff were really nice, vibe is great and we loved the karaoke! Lots of nice people, very happy.

The hostel itself was clean and well located, no complaints about that. But the girl at the reception was extremely rude. On the day of check-in, she was standing with another girl at the counter — when I asked if I could check in, she just said “no,” and they both laughed. When I asked what was wrong, they rolled their eyes and said it was “just a joke.” On the day of check-out, I wanted to leave my luggage until the evening to explore the city. For the first time in 15 years of traveling, I’ve encountered a place where you can’t store your bags for free — you have to book paid luggage storage online. My card was declined by their website, so I politely asked if I could pay in cash or what I should do instead. She simply said “no,” turned away, and started helping other guests. Usually, hotel staff try to assist travelers and offer some kind of solution, but this kind of attitude was truly disappointing.

Generally good, spacious rooms, nice public terrace and kitchen, although the A/C was poor and I found the staff pretty strict and inflexible regarding some requests.

theres a kitchen and a garden, kitchen provides free pasta, vegetables, pasta sauce, and many more. bar open 24/7. good place!

Second time staying at ostello bello. Picked this hostel because of the convenient location. It’s nice that they offer a token to exchange for welcome drink, and a lot of activities to participate. Some places in the hostel definitely need some upgrade sooner or later… the toilet seat in the dome room shared restroom got a crack on it that definitely need a replacement soon. Kinda weird they charge me differently for luggage storage (before check in- 5 euro fixed price / after check in- 3.5 euro piece), maybe due to the length of storage, I guess??

The location is excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and most attractions are within easy walking distance. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm room, which was quite spacious and had two bathrooms.
