Non ho mai avuto tempo per recensire il mio soggiorno qui, ma ci tenevo a farlo. Abbiamo passato un bellissimo weekend a Firenze, il nostro appartamento era Accademia, situato all'ultimo piano di un palazzo moderno da poco ristrutturato. Stanza stupenda, perfetta anche per 3 persone poiché dotata di un divano letto al secondo piano. Letto comodissimo, bagno bello e pulito diviso in due zone da una grande vasca jacuzzi che funge anche da doccia, dotata anche di led per la cromoterapia e che affaccia sulla stanza in quanto vetrata, ma volendo più privacy si può tirare giù la tenda facilmente. Ci siamo organizzati telefonicamente per il check in, un signore gentilissimo ci ha spiegato come aprire il portone e ci ha accompagnati alla stanza, siamo stati omaggiati di una bottiglia di vino locale dei dolcetti tipici. Il giorno del check out ci hanno fatto tranquillamente lasciare le nostre valige in una stanza poiché avevamo il treno tardi, davvero apprezzato. Uscendo dal portone, a destra con pochi passi si arriva all'antico vinaio, poco affollato rispetto agli altri, a sinistra invece, infondo alla via, c'è piazza duomo, quindi centralissimo, perfetto per girare sempre a piedi. Lo consiglio vivamente, torneremo volentieri !!

This is a lovely, clean hotel with good facilities and location and an excellent breakfast. It has a very traditional decor, with a modern bathroom. Our room was pleasant enough but the window faced a wall and had huge shutters which we couldn't open. Hence, there was hardly any natural light in the room. I also found the staff a bit unfriendly, especially at the reception desk. There was no greeting if you walked past, and they did seem slightly condescending - not the usual friendliness you would expect on a reception desk. The staff at breakfast were much nicer. I liked this hotel, but a little friendliness and a smile go a long way and would have enhanced our stay.

The hotel is clean , but tired. I did not appreciate being told to sit a specific table for breakfast even when there were clearly several empty, was totally snubbed when asking for hot water for tea. Male concierge added 30% onto the price of bus tickets , next days' tickets were as priced on the actual ticket. Makes them untrustworthy. Poor breakfasts . And service is bad. Itallians get treated well and english are NOT . They don't know how to treat paying guests with equal respect . Its obvious they are blatantly discriminate.

A 3* hotel that exceeded my expectations. Well placed next to the SMN railway station, and literally next to the SMN bus station for Siena and other Tuscan town. The hotel is also not that far from the Florence historic centre. There is also a supermarket very close by. I stayed in a single room, no 315, for 2 nights. Although a single it was not very small, as so often in Italy. The bed was also not too narrow for a large person like me, and was comfortable. Bathroom was large, with a bathtub. Towels were soft and fluffy, of good quality. Cleanliness was very good, and maintained so throughout my stay. The wardrobe was large enough, and the safe & minibar were useful. Overall, the hotel is not a new one, with rather old furniture that shows its age, but I like old-fashioned hotels so it was fine for me. Breakfast was very good, and the service at breakfast was excellent, which is so rare nowadays, even in high star hotels, kudos to the tall Italian guy running the breakfast room from the bar. Also of great help was the young lady from the reception, always helping efficiently, kindly, with a smile. Walls are paper-thin, you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms. It was not warm enough in my room, the AC showed it was working towards 22 degrees, but in fact in was not, and temperature stayed at 19 degrees, which was uncomfortable for me. TV was very small.

Highly recommended to whoever plan to visit Florence and would like to stay close to Florence central station. Hotel Delle Nazioni is basically just next to the Central Station and within walking distance to all major attractions, it’s super convenient to travel around Florence by foot.
Also the breakfast selection is wide and food was delicious. Highly recommended Hotel Delle Nazioni .

Villa Castiglione is located on one of the hills surrounding Florence, it is a peaceful and quiet place surrounded by villas and vines. Converted monastery now features artistically decorated interiors. Rooms are just spacious enough for a lovely stay, with ensuite modern bathroom. It is as seen on photos, clean and the staff speak English - even though they appear a bit slow and bored, they were friendly and very helpful, as well as offering advice on travel. Parking is free on the premises but be prepared for narrow windy road to reach the place. Breakfast has enough variety, but don't expect healthy options, it is generally pastries, yoghurt, cereal and eggs. Great coffee, as this is Italy, of course. Dinner is officially served from 7.30 but nobody started serving until 8pm and the menu is rather limited, lacking simple options for tired travellers such as soup or salad - and it was expensive, considering value for money. All in all, this was a great find and we can recommend the Villa.

The great hotel is overrated at 4 stars. Only the lobby was 4 stars. I feel there it should be between two and three stars. It is a functional out of town hotel that serves group tourism or those travelling with their own cars.. They are no restaurants close to the hotel Hindi hotel restaurant itself offered no vegetarian choices beyond the ministrone soup. Proposed hotel they was no electric kettle to make tea. The two elevators are far too insufficient for the guest load and we had to wait several minutes just go up.

This is an excellent option to stay near Florence. It is 10 minute waking from a train station. The hotel super clean and it is to the American standards. We arrived at 11:30 pm at the Prato train station because of the floods in Bologna with no taxis in site and the guy from the front desk when the extra mile and when to get us in the station SUPER SERVICE!… the experience with this hotel was excellent… I fully recommend it since the hotels in Florence are a lot more expensive

We recently stayed here for 4 days with our two kids and loved every bit of it. The rooms were spacious and super comfy, especially the beds – we all slept like logs! The breakfast was a hit with lots of choices for everyone, even our picky eaters. What really made our stay special was how friendly the staff was. They were always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Manager Alessandro was always keen to check on our well being and comfort. In short, this place is awesome for families. Great rooms, yummy breakfast, and super nice people. We’re definitely coming back!

Ttung tung shamDuring my recent trip to Florence, I had the pleasure of staying at the Anglo American Hotel. Overall, my experience at this hotel was delightful, and I would gladly recommend it to fellow travelers.
First and foremost, the location of the Anglo American Hotel is superb. PPengguna TetamuWe spent 3 night in 3 different cities on our trip. This was our favorite hotel on our trip. Beds were super comfy and the place was very clean. The staff went above and beyond for us as we asked for recommendations for restaurants and they made reservations for us and sent us text messages once they were confirmed. The best part about this place is the courtyard. Gorgeous. We would grab a drink at the bar and then go out to the courtyard to enjoy it. There is a hot tub out there as well but we did not use it. Bartenders were all very friendly. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but more than close enough to walk to everything, which we did. No need for public transportation to get to and from the hotel. High recommend!

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed for 3 nights in April, the Hotel was clean, convenient, quiet and comfortable. The staff were lovely without exception. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff and room service were friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome. Our room was at the rear of the hotel (204) with a balcony which was a pleasant surprise. The view was nothing special as it overlooked the rear of other properties but it was nice and comfortable and very quite. There is a Spa that you can book for your exclusive use. This is sometimes included in your deal but otherwise is 25 euros each for 50 minutes and well worth it. The view from the roof top is superb and you can get a drink from the reception bar and take it up there or even take your own bottle of wine! Breakfast centres mainly on pastries, fruits and meats. There is a “hot” option of eggs and bacon but is only ever warm at best. However, the pastries are very nice and more than enough available. It also has to be the most convenient trip I have ever experienced from Airport to hotel! Exit the airport turn left and walk to the tram stop about a minute away. Take the T2 tram to UNITA and get off at Rosselli. That’s it!, it takes about 20 minutes and when the t4am leave you will be facing the hotel. It cost 1.50 euros each. You can buy the tickets on the tram platform but I would visit the shop Hudson as others have mentioned on here and get them there as there can be a queue to get your ticket on the platform. Don’t forget to slide it into the machine to validate it when you board. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk for the “Dome” in the centre and about 25 minutes to the bridges on the river. There are some excellent restaurants such as Casa Ciabattini and Osteria Vecchio Cancellous within 6/7 minute walk both of which I would highly recommend. I would not hesitate to return.

AAnuradhaBreakfast can be much better. It is an expensive hotel but their breakfast buffet doesn't have fresh fruit, poor cheese selection and they also don't serve multi grain bread.
For some reason, i felt like the staff were serving the Europeans faster.
Also, at the hotel reception, the staff will give you incorrect information regarding the city tours and hotels. Please be careful

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel couldn’t be better. Participants have their own apartment which comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if you are on your own, pop for a one bedroom for a extra room. This is especially nice for a long stay. I had a room on the ground level. It opened up to the patio which has a nice sitting area and tables and chairs. I often took my lunch out there, or a drink after a hard day touring in historic Florence. People do smoke out there, but not very much. The rooms are clean, clean, clean and there is housekeeping service every three days. Linens are bright white. The property is located a block away from the T2 Tram Line which gets to the historic area in about 10 minutes. I would stay here again.

It is old fashioned in the best possible sense; very well situated close to the train station, the Duomo and the centre of Florence - so a perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms could do with some refurbishment but are air conditioned, kept very clean, and everything works. Doubles are generous in size, single rooms are small. Breakfast is continental with cheese, ham, muesli, croissants, cake, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and detox water. Most importantly, the staff here were unfailingly courteous and helpful. They really could not do enough for us, from letting me borrow an adapter, to recommending excursions, booking taxis, and accommodating a late check out. There are trendier, more modern hotels in the area, but that is reflected in the price - you get what you pay for.

Miguele, at the front desk was especially helpful with our entire 3 day stay. Parking was a big bonus, not usually included in this price range.

I really enjoyed my stay in Florence.
The staff was nice. The hotel was fairly clean and the shower was really good.
However, the bed was horrible. I felt every mattress spring on my whole body, it was very uncomfortable.
Not to mention the walls are paper thin. I stayed 4 nights and the first 2 were fine. However, the last 2 nights a Brazilian couple checked in to the room next door, and I could hear EVERYTHING they said or did as if they were in my room standing next to me. I had to use a white sound machine to black out their noise.
Important to mention, they don't turn on the heat or AC unit until later November (according to what the staff said), and it was cold during the night.
Also, I got assigned a room in the last floor: floor 4. And there's no elevator and the stairs are steep. So I had to climb 4 floors with my suitcase which was kind of a struggle.
Other than that, I would really recommend this hotel because of the price and the location. There's a lot of good restaurants across from the hotel too.
