This was our 40th year staying at this beautiful , elegant hotel in Florence . We are always made to feel most welcome by all the staff and even get a warm welcome from the room maids who clean the rooms to a very high standard and would mention the rooms are extremely comfortable . This hotel is a must if you are planning a trip to Florence and we suggest you visit their website which is full of information . You will not be disappointed . I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

酒店距離火車站約5分鐘步行距離，往百花大教堂只需10分鐘步行時間，附近很多餐廳商店，出行十分方便。服務態度非常體貼，我們提早到達未能取房，稍後回酒店時已把我們行李領上房間。房間設施燈光都十分溫馨舒適，用品一應俱全。有機會再來佛羅倫斯還會再入住這家酒店。

Few minutes walk from the station past McDonald’s (exit the station from the left). Hotel is set back so can easily be missed. We had a room for three, one double bed and a low camp bed. Rooms made up everyday and towels changed frequently. Wardrobe with plenty of hangers, safe, complimentary water in fridge. I asked if we could have a kettle and this was no problem. Bathroom quite big, shower cubicle with toiletries. Lovely white, big bath towels. Great location for lots of great restaurants and only minutes away from attractions. Rooms are quite warm but there is air con. Breakfast consists of yogurts, fresh fruit, breads, croissants, scrambled eggs and great coffee. Hotel staff are so helpful, even printed out our tickets for one of our trips. Would stay there again, next time exit the train station from the left!

If you are coming to Florence (Firenze) via the train, staying at the Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a good choice as it is located just about a block away. It maybe a bit tricky to locate it the sign is not very apparent and is somewhat small. It is more visible from across the street. There is also a side entrance .When we were there in July 2022, they had a mandatory appointment time to reserve for the continental breakfast each morning starting at 7a.m. to avoid overcrowding and social distancing. Hotel Mercure Firenze Centro is a very convenient 10 minute walk to the Duomo. The service was very efficient at check in and they were very more than welcome to store our luggage as check in time wasn't until after 4p.m. The rooms are very huge and daily room service was good.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at NH Collection Florence - Porta Rossa. Our room was outstanding and unique! And the breakfast we had each morning was amazing! Also, all the staff helping us at this hotel from the front desk, to the doorman, to the servers, and others were outstanding. The location was also in the heart of everything, which was excellent. I also wanted to send a special thank you to the Manager, Nadine, who during my stay helped me with purchasing surprise gifts for my wife on her birthday. I’m from the United States and wasn’t sure where to go in the area to get a cake made and a card for my wife. I met with Nadine and she provided me with cake options of what could be made at the hotel. She also reached out to a florist in the area and provided details on options for me to give roses to my wife. Nadine worked quickly and prioritized my gift needs and within only a few hours had the cake, flowers, and card delivered to our room to surprise my wife before we went to our dinner reservation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The cake and especially the presentation of the flowers far exceeded my expectations, and my wife absolutely loved them both. The gifts helped make her feel so special! And this provided an memorable moment for lifetime. A million thanks, Nadine! We’ll definitely recommend NH Collection Florence - Porta Rossa to others coming to Florence! We’ll also plan to come back if we’re ever in Florence, Italy, again. If you're looking for a great place to stay, this is it!!

Perfekt ausgestattetes Apartment im Dachgeschoß direkt am Piazza Repubblica mit Dachterrasse. Moderne und stylische Einrichtung, eine Glasdusche trennt Schlaf- und Wohnbereich. Separates Badezimmer vorhanden, außerdem kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank. Das Highlight ist die kleine Dachterasse mit Ausblick auf den Dom und Piazza Repubblica - außerdem kann man praktisch den Besuchern der Rooftopbar schräg gegenüber praktisch zuprosten (ca. 50m Sichtweite). Das Apartment haben wir sauber vorgefunden, es wird alle 2 Tage geputzt. Supermarkt, Restaurants und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe zu erlaufen. Wir würden es bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder buchen, da wir die Möglichkeit der Dachterrasse intensiv zum Frühstücken und abendlichem Drink genutzt haben. Frühstück ist zusätzlich buchbar, wir haben es uns jedoch selbst gestaltet dank nahen Supermärkten und vorhandener Küche mit Toaster und Kaffeemaschine. Zum Einchecken meldet man sich an der Rezeption im Erdgeschoß des Bürogebäudes, diese rufen dann einen Mitarbeiter des Vermieters herbei, nach ca. 10 Minuten Wartezeit war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter junger Mann vor Ort, der uns ausführlich alle Details des Apartments gezeigt und erklärt hat (in englischer Sprache). Es gibt einen Nachteil, den man nicht verschweigen darf: Wir hatten das rechte Apartment (das welches zum Piazzo Repubblica hin liegt) und leider führt direkt über das Apartment und daneben ein Lüftungsschacht vorbei, der Tag und Nacht rauscht. Manchmal stärker, manchmal schwächer. Ganz extrem laut war es in der Nacht vom Sonntag auf Montag, wahrscheinlich wurden da alles Klimaanlagen für die Büros in den anderen Stockwerken des Gebäudes für den Montag gestartet. Also d.h. das Apartment eignet sich nicht für jemanden mit leichtem Schlaf und Ruhebedürfnis. Wie die Situation in den anderen Apartments (insg. 3 oder 4) ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen.

First off the good this hotel is extremely unique. I love the way it’s set up. For a dirty/romantic getaway, this place could be absolutely phenomenal, the twinkle lights in the room in the mirrors on the Wall Trust me this place could be fun! We arrived in March we stayed for two nights Unfortunately in March there is no AC in the hotel. The heater was stuck on in the bathroom and at night the temperature got to 33° We open the window for the brisk, nightmare and in came thousands of mosquitoes… definitely not the hotels fault but a screen over the window would’ve elevated our experience a great deal. Unfortunately my son is covered in mosquito bites from head to toe and I had a less severe reaction, but I also slept with a sheet over my head The hotel gracefully Sprayed our rooms the next day to get rid of the mosquitoes which worked But unfortunately on the last of us day, we slept with the windows open, and it was unbearably hot. The bar downstairs was well stocked and very expensive and the local economy you can buy a bottle of Jameson for €20 in unfortunately one double cost exactly the same. I would’ve happily drank whiskey there all night long and have a great time but it was just a little too expensive if you stay there bring your own alcohol you’ll need it for the temperatures in the room. To be honest, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful to Black walls of the hallways were unique. Very nice hotel, but like I said some screens on the rooms and some creative pricing at the bar would’ve made this a five star steak

Non ho mai avuto tempo per recensire il mio soggiorno qui, ma ci tenevo a farlo. Abbiamo passato un bellissimo weekend a Firenze, il nostro appartamento era Accademia, situato all'ultimo piano di un palazzo moderno da poco ristrutturato. Stanza stupenda, perfetta anche per 3 persone poiché dotata di un divano letto al secondo piano. Letto comodissimo, bagno bello e pulito diviso in due zone da una grande vasca jacuzzi che funge anche da doccia, dotata anche di led per la cromoterapia e che affaccia sulla stanza in quanto vetrata, ma volendo più privacy si può tirare giù la tenda facilmente. Ci siamo organizzati telefonicamente per il check in, un signore gentilissimo ci ha spiegato come aprire il portone e ci ha accompagnati alla stanza, siamo stati omaggiati di una bottiglia di vino locale dei dolcetti tipici. Il giorno del check out ci hanno fatto tranquillamente lasciare le nostre valige in una stanza poiché avevamo il treno tardi, davvero apprezzato. Uscendo dal portone, a destra con pochi passi si arriva all'antico vinaio, poco affollato rispetto agli altri, a sinistra invece, infondo alla via, c'è piazza duomo, quindi centralissimo, perfetto per girare sempre a piedi. Lo consiglio vivamente, torneremo volentieri !!
