This is a lovely B&B in a great location, within walking distance of the town. Hayley is a lovely hostess. I stayed in a single room with a loch view - the photos don't do this room justice - it's got a great view of the loch and is very well appointed. Breakfast is excellent - my favorites were the homemade overnight oats with fresh fruit and the crumpets with homemade jam. There are benches and picnic tables in front of and behind the house that are nice to use when the sun is shining.

Very large, comfortable, quiet room with nice bathroom. The breakfast room had a beautiful view of the garden and over to the loch. A separate nice lounging area with helpful guidebooks. A fridge we could always use for storing food items, and we were welcome to eat our own food in the breakfast room at other times of day. It was easy to walk the mile from the railway station, through the center of town, to the B&B and back. Breakfast was varied and could be healthy, hearty, or both. OTOH, it did not vary from day to day, and, except for the overnight oats, everything came directly from the supermarket. No eggs or hot dishes. Haley was very helpful with advice and information.

Absolutely amazing guest house and couple. I booked the room for my partner as we do Scottish tours and although it was his first time staying it definitely won't be the last. He loved his stay here and the breakfast set him up for his day ahead. 100% recommend

Beautiful old home just outside the main town. Large rooms with updated washrooms, good quality towels, sheets, bath products. The hostess Hayley is lovely, and caters to your needs. The rooms are quiet and very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Ours overlooked the loch, others overlook the front gardens. Breakfast is continental, an excellent assortment, you will be full and happy.

This B&B was fantastic. Our room was so spacious. The breakfast room had a beautiful view of the loch. Hailey, the owner, was super cheerful and helpful. There is plenty of parking behind the house. It’s the perfect distance to walk to Fort William for dinner or a drink. We loved Ashburn House and would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful place run by a gorgeous family living their dream. Hayley is a natural hostess and her continental breakfast is the best I've had. The bed was super comfy, rooms immaculate and thoughtful touches that really makes a B and B experience so different from air bnb and hotels.

Ashburn House is in an amazing location on the shore of the loch. We received a very warm welcome from our lovely hosts on our arrival. The house is lovely and warm and very welcoming. Great parking and gorgeous garden. Our room was very clean . Comfortable bed and lovely pillows. Breakfast was continental with an amazing selection. My husbands food allergy was catered for brilliantly, he ate better than he does at home. Lovely overnight oats. What a treat. Thank you for looking after us.

If you are going to Fort William and need somewhere to stay, then book the Ashburn! The hosts are very nice , friendly and look after you. The guest house is very nicely decorated and meticulously clean. Quality and choice available at breakfast is excellent. If you can book a loch view room, then do so... what a view to wake up to in the morning. The guest house is only a short stroll into town , so very well located.

We stayed here on our tour of Scotland for two nights. We stayed in a loch view room which was fantastic. This B & B is run by a young family, and whilst this could lead you to believe they are inexperienced, this couldn't be further from the truth. They have absoloutely nailed this business, and it is a credit to their clearly hard work and dedication. The house is spotless and decorated in an elegant yet modern style. Thoughtful touches were everywhere, and of a high end feel. The bedding was amazing as was the shower, and big fluffy towels and toiletries provided. The location could not be beaten, with safe off street parking provided. Views which speak for themselves. Breathtaking. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, served in a spotless dining area. Hayley and Trev were the best hosts, chatty and informative, but not intrusive. I would recommend Ashburn house 100% with confidence to any of my friends. As frequent visitors to Scotland. We have found our new base.
