比較適合臨時需要住一晚，第二天又要早出發的，確實是一家很普通的汽車旅館，周圍也沒有什麼景點，設施也很簡單普通，好在比較乾淨，下榻的床還挺舒服，也沒有廚房，衹有微波爐和專烤麵包小烤箱，簡單的餐具

Excellent location to explore the area around Wilsons Promontory and wider Gippsland. The Lodge (to be honest it's an upscale motel) has an onsite restaurant which serves reasonably tasty and filling, but not exciting food. Which is a good option, if like us, you've spent the day exploring the area. The room was spacious, the linen clean and fresh. The bathroom although spacious had an open shower which saw water go everywhere. Bed was comfortable. Although it is on the highway it is set back from the road and the rooms are quiet. I will note, my partner asked about seeing wildlife in the immediate area and the staff, although slightly surprised, were more than willing to assist for what was a slightly left of centre request. So full marks for them!

There are a number of cottages on this property, but each is positioned some distance apart, affording guests plenty of space. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage # 3. This was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with everything we required for a short stay. The property is well positioned, with Sandy Point and Waratah Bay both about 5 kms away, while Tidal River is an easy 40 minute drive. We took advantage of its position to enjoy some of the many beautiful walks available in the area. The lack of traffic noise at night was a joy for us as we live in Melbourne, and the rural surrounds, including curious and friendly cows, made for a wonderfully restorative break. We would happily return to Prom Cottages in future.

Due to flooding and road closures, we were unable to get a room in the end and there was no way to get a refund, which was a pity.

Just 15 minutes to the centre of Leongatha, 15 minutes to Mirboo North & 15 minutes to Meeniyan townships, we are close enough that you can shop in any direction you're heading, with lovely eateries and cafes as well as supermarkets in each town. Beyond these towns are some fantastic breweries and wineries as well as local produce such as cheese, artisan bakeries, local honey and other delicious products that you're bound to come across on your journey. There are so many gorgeous small towns to explore with local hotels the go to place for a nice meal. We are only located approx an hour long, gorgeous drive to Wilsons Prom and not too far from Waratah Bay, Squeaky Beach, Wonthaggi & Inverloch if youre seeking the ocean. However, if you are looking to stay close to 'home' then our property has a solar heated outdoor pool with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the finer weather, or the WIFI is FAST & FREE if you wanted to watch a movie!
