The hotel is located in the center and you can walk to the landmark of the city easily. The river is a few steps away, there are many restaurants around. The concept and interior design of the hotel is uniquely fun and makes you feel good. For example there was an ukulele as part of the decoration in the room I stayed in and it was nice for me to find this musical instrument in my room, which i learned to play in my childhood and put aside. There is a kitchen on the top floor and you can cook your own food if you wish. There are also some foods and drinks if you want to buy you take it and write down on the list on the table, to pay when you check out the hotel. İt was a good experience and I liked the hotel.

已經第三次入住了，但是感覺服務人員一直在更換，態度不如從前好，之前狗入住不用加錢，這次入住卻要收費，也沒有提前告知，如果寵物入住需要加錢，應該網站上要公佈才對。

我們沒有吃早餐，要我們付早餐費，感覺非常不好，管理專業水準太差，當然最後我們是不付的

Nice hotel, rude staff who didn’t want to provide the free breakfast indicated on their website. On checkout, we were asked to pay for breakfast. When I said that we booked direct with the hotel and took the staff to the website where it said that it was included if your booked direct, she said that I should have called (for a long distance charge) because it wasn’t indicated on my confirmation. I said, I was telling her now and can I speak to a manager? She said she was the manager but insisted that I pay for breakfast x 4. (Some fresh fruit and yoghurt). I argued that I just proved to her what their own website indicated. She told me to get out of the hotel and not come back. It was raining and I had to wait for my taxi outside. NOT COOL!

Arrived to the hotel to be met by construction work in the entrance. Had to go through an unsafe place to get into the hotel. Went out that evening and when we came back at 2am couldn’t get into the hotel. There was apparently an electrical problem. They have a phone number to call for issues with the electronic door but no one answered or returned our message/calls. After 1.5hrs we found another hotel and went and stayed there. This hotel has not reimbursed us for the loss caused by them not having night staff. Even though they agreed that this happened and is there failing. We have provided them with receipts for the other hotel.

This was my second visity to the Libertine. It is a wonderful boutique hotel in a vibrant part of the city. The hotel team are lovely people and know a lot about the city. The rooms are beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. The hotel occasiaonlly hosts live events, during my latest visit there was a small concert in the recording studio. You would not hear this in your room. The only downside is the tiny bathroom sincs & lack of counter space in the bathroom. Please note, it can get quite noisy on weekend evenings if you room is facing the square.

Great neighbourhood.Interesting shops and excellent restaurants, but… but this hotel needs AC. Yes understand its buzzing at wkend, but if the weather hits 28degrees you cannot close window and swelter. Not a comfortable stay.

Unique setting and location. Service was outstanding and super friendly staff. Carlos was outstanding and makes sure every person get special attention. would stay there again. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was good, but is all vegan

Carlos greeted us saying that Libertine Lindenberg was our home away from home in Frankfurt. He was right. As many transatlantic flights do, our flight arrived in the morning and check in was mid afternoon. There is a cumbersome computerized self check in, but Carlos helped us. The 5th floor is set up exactly for travelers like us. There is a washroom where you can change clothes and freshen up, as well as a large communal area on the 5th floor where you can get a snack from the Lekker store (honor system) and a coffee, and relax a bit. The hotel was located about a 15min walk from the Christmas markets. In case you haven't yet experienced them, the German Christmas markets are truly the best, and Frankfurts were no exception. We would return to the hotel very late; you have a numeric code to enter and another for your room/ door, so make sure you take a pic of these key codes for your phone for reference! Our room was large (quite large), with a sitting area, extremely comfortable bed and pillows/ duvet, and average sized bathroom, with towel warmer. The sounds at night were loud, but they provide ear plugs and these did the trick. Decor was what I would call Hygge Hipster. Please know that it is a vegan hotel, soya yogurt, oat cream for coffee etc. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The next hotel we stayed at made us long for Libertine Lindenberg. Staff were all helpful and kind. Would return for another stay in our home away from home.

Nice hotel in a convenient location to walk across the river and to the train station. The room was large and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the community kitchen was really handy. Our room (19) was quiet so we didn’t need the earplugs, even on the Friday night, but the area can be quite noisy if you’re seeking quiet. Comfortable bed and bedding. Nice toiletries in bathroom. Free laundry for guests and the community kitchen has a lot of great basics like spices etc. The person working the breakfast area was friendly and kind. Cons: there is zero direction on how to check out so when we had to leave early for a flight, we simply left. There is no A/C in the room and the fan provided could not keep up with the heat. We couldn’t keep the window too widely open because of the busy area. The skylight has no shade so the loft bedroom is quite bright and there is no way to prevent the sun coming in to avoid excess heat. The kitchenette had almost no dishes but we found them upstairs in the community kitchen. The self serve check in means that you basically have to choose your own adventure to figure out how things work (like the fact that there is coffee and tea available always in the community kitchen, you don’t need to wait till breakfast at 8am to have your caffeine fix). Which brings me to 8am is a late start for breakfast meaning that our early departure to the airport meant we didn’t get one of the two breakfasts included in our stay.

I understand why the hotel has automated check in. Our only experience of the staff was staggeringly rude. After the “small but hearty” vegan breakfast (which was woeful) we sat in the reception area and waited for some business guests to arrive for a brief meeting. We asked if we could buy a coffee and the staff seemed to think this was a ridiculous request. The lady then decided to go into a full diatribe about the many locations for a coffee anywhere but there. Get the feeling we weren’t welcome? Just wait. Whilst we were having our meeting the lady began hoovering. Not just around us, under us! Bashing our chair legs as she went, what great hospitality? What, there’s more? We were then told to be quiet as she was on the telephone making what I can only assume was a very important work call. How dare us as guests have a chat in her place of work! The check in is ridiculous. You have to press a number via an email to get in then follow a ridiculously convoluted check in process. Success! I get my room receipt with its own 6 digit pass code. Get to room, passcode doesn’t work. Great! Where’s a contact number? Not on my receipt, of course not. Finally find a number. Oh your room code is actually completely different. Please write it down. Enter room. No power. Finally make the lights work through a combination of twists and pulls. The room itself I must add is lovely. Don’t expect a quiet night though, the bars and clubs outside are very loud. The rooms very nice. Everything else was appalling.

Very good hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable and the linen is lovely. Breakfast is simple and tasty. The one shortcoming is it is about 20steps from very popular, loud bar areas with outdoor seating. I stayed on weeknights (not weekend) and there was shouting, singing, music till around 2-3am. If sleeping with window closed and wearing earplugs is ok, then this is the hotel for you.

A gem of a hotel, in a funky part of town very close to the downtown shopping areas and museums. Excellent facilities, including fully equipped kitchen and dining areas and relaxing seating areas on the ground floor. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We found the concerns about noise unwarranted: the window in our room was fully insulated and we didn’t hear a peep while sleeping, though we enjoyed the buzz of people outside at the local pubs across the street in the evenings. This was our first actual stay in Frankfurt after passing through the airport many times, and we enjoyed a relaxing three nights. If I had business that kept me in Frankfurt for several days, this would be my go-to place.
