Only good thing about the hotel is location. Located by the main shops. From the outside the hotel looks fine. Arrival to reception was ok fairly clean. Received key to room as there was 3 of us we knew one of the party was to sleep on a sofa bed (which was more like just a sofa) When entering the room there was a strange smell. The room did look like the walls and ceiling had been painted. However the carpet was just dirty, stains all over it. Splashes of paint where there hadn’t been clearly any sheets laid down and generally carpet was an eye sore. There was a Kitchenette. Kettle, toaster. No plates and no mugs. Three glasses and one was definitely not clean. The worst was yet to come. Opened the fridge…… left over milk, juice, take out chicken and McDonald’s box which none of us wanted to open to experience what was inside. This could have been left from previous guests but who knows how long it had been there . Clearly the cleaner hadn’t checked on this, which then made us all doubt the cleanliness of the whole room. To be fair bed linen did look clean but didn’t give much assurance. Bathroom was ok. Shower surprisingly good but definitely not the best bathroom. Hair dryer didn’t have anything about it and overheated after about a minute. Sleep value awful. Bed surprisingly comfy. But the noise from outside was horrific which led to dreadful sleep. It went on all night. Such a shame as hotel location was brilliant and hotel cleanliness let itself down. I wouldn’t rush back.

They gave me a room facing the street, So with the smoking kids shouting out there, it was quite noisy. And there is no phone in the room. I got what I wanted through trips' customer service which was really fast and I am grateful for. But the location is superb. And it's the typical Moxy style. Simple but but chic and clean enough.

Hotel is small but with great reception service and friendly staff. The room is comfortable and clean however it was a great disappointment that there was no fridge in the room. We could not keep drinks or food cold.

The overall stay in The Westin Grand was good as the location is very good which is just 2 minutes walk to the train station. And if you turn right & walk further up, it will lead you to the shopping areas like Galeria, H&M, Zara, My Zeil etc. As you continue to walk further up, you will be at the shopping belt with all the luxury brands & also Alte Oper with many dining options. So they are all within walking distance if you are not tired to walk. If not taking the train is just 1 stop to the Galeria & you can access through the supermaket of the mall at the basement. I was given the room at second level so there was not much view from my room. The service at the reception was good & polite & also the hospitality staff who helped us in the luggage after we arrived. He was from Utopia & he was very friendly & chatted with us for a short while after sending our luggage to our room. The restaurant staff were also very friendly & attentive. The breakfast buffet menu is the same every morning. If they can change every 2 days will be good so we will not get sick of eating the same food every morning as I stayed there for almost a week. But overall the quality & the food taste were good for me. The room is not very big but also not too small. There 3 setbacks which is the bathroom design, toilet amenities & the housekeeping. If not, I would have given the hotel a 100 thumbs-up. The shower area does not have a door to close & the floor level is the same as the basin area. So the water will flood the whole toilet floor if you are splashing & using the shower head. I had to use the ceiling mount shower as the water flow was not as great as the shower head to prevent ponding in the toilet floor. The design is a problem & the toilet is cramp if 2 persons are standing inside. You need to bring along your own toothbrush & toothpaste, cotton buds, shavers for men & shower cap for ladies as the room does not provide any basic toilet amenities except hand soap, body lotion, hair dryer, iron with ironing board, bathroom slippers, towels, & lavender aroma oil for sleeping. The housekeeping was not up to standard although they kept the room clean. They did not place back my toiletries in order & sometimes all over the basin area. They also accidentally threw away my disposable shaver. They also did not check the volume level in the shower gel whether it was finished & I needed to call them to request to top up. They also do not change the bathrobe even I placed it on the bathroom floor as I wanted to change to a new one after wearing for 2 days. One day, the housekeeper also forgot to close the window & we were wondering why the room was cold at night even after I increased the room temperature. I only discovered the next morning when I opened up the curtain. They also did not refill the stirrers at certain days as I drank the free Nespresso coffee in my room every morning. I hope the hotel management will look into the housekeeping & to give more thoroug

The first stay was 4 nights and 2nd stay was for 1 night during May 2023, the hotel has a prime location, close to everything you would need; undergrounds, shopping, taxi slots, supermarkets, and restaurants.. everything is located within 1-3 minutes walking distance. Service at the hotel is excellent and their dining options are reasonable particularly the 7th floor panoramic view restaurant. The only thing I didn’t like was the AC in the room .. it doesn’t cool at all and the room was too hot and had to open the window and suffer street noise. I will certainly consider booking it again ONLY IF AC IS FIXED.

This is a 100% honest review. And i will try to write as much to help other Customers who are looking for Hotels to book. I know how hard it is to read Reviews and all, but i hope this will help. This Hotel has the best service of all! From the Valet Parking, to the Receptionist (who speaks perfect English), to the Room! ROOM: First impression in entering the room, was.. WOW. IT SMELLS CLEAN AND GOOD! It is big enough for 2. They provided us 2 free Water Bottles, they have Shampoos, Body Soap, and Lotion. The Pillows are Comfortable, Bed is really Big (but don’t expect too much) it is just good enough to sleep. If you’re looking for EXTRA comfort for sleeping, this is not the one for you. They have Airconditioning (which is really important), and it works PERFECT! BREAKFAST BUFFET: They have wonderful WAITERS AND WAITRESSES! They will go extra mile for you like when you get your Coffee yourself, they will offer to do it for you. It gives a lot of choices when it comes to Food. Their FOOD is superb! I still can’t get over with the Waffles 😅 it is true that it’s a little bit Pricey, but if you’re a Breakfast Person, i would highly recommend you to get this one! 😊 Overall experience, it was excellent!

Arrived on 10th March from Ireland. Room was ready. Man at reception very kind and chatty. Room perfect overlooking road. two single beds, wardrobe, shower, sink, toilet.. fridge, kettle tea, coffee. bottled water, TV. Heater under window, omg room was roasting... you could turn the valve to turn it off. also electric shutters outside,, switch at window. There was a little spill of people on street at night time,, but nothing major. We didnt have breakfast. We went to Aldi and got milk and biscuits for room. and we bought our own tea bags... you cannot for love nor money get irish tea bags in Frankfurt... Hotel is very centre to shops...perfect location... definitely recommend...

Staff are helpful. The nespresso machine in room is not clean though.

I had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night because of the bed bugs in my room! The receptionist had zero empathy, like nothing happened. He said it's my problem, not the hotel’s. I had to call other hotels to ask if there was availability. I have never experienced such strong stress as that night. The next day I came back to ask for a refund but the receptionist lied to me that the manager was busy and I had to come at 4 pm and without him, they couldn't return the money. At 4 pm I came back again and there was a new receptionist who wasn't aware of the situation and he didn't know where was the manager. Basically, they can only text him, not call. The receptionist was ignorant, again zero empathy and reaction to my situation. I left with no refund, but I hope bookingcom will help me to return my money. This hotel should be shut down because of their attitude to the customers. Check the reviews on bookingcom, there are at least 10 reviews that experienced the same. Avoid this place at any cost! I hope Miramar staff will read this review and I wanted to tell them: I wish one day all of you will be in the shoes of the customer and experience how it feels when nobody cares about your problem!

The rooms are super small, but adequate for a short stay - the value and the location is great! Lobby is stylish and cozy and breakfast was nice too!
