Hotel berhampiran Michimori Shrine, Fukuyama

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. Location is good, very accessible to stations, food outlets and mall. In the heart of Fukuyama City. It would be better if they could have the supplementary coffee too.

I primarily booked the room based on its location along my planned route but it ended up being one of my favorite hotels on my recent trip to Japan. The hotel is quite new and the rooms larger than a standard Japanese hotel typically offers. The bathroom was great but the best was when I looked out the window to a GREAT view of Fukuyama Castle. The onsen/spa was beautiful and really was beyond what I expected all around. Check-out was completed easily with the digital kiosk and many language options were available. Highly recommend!

酒店就在車站出口附近，走路五分鐘左右的距離也有商店街和賣場，用餐選擇多且方便。 另外，最特別的一點是，旅館大約5樓以上能直接看到城堡，房間有兩側，其中一側打開窗簾就能直接欣賞城堡，另外一側則是普通的城景房而已，如果有機會選擇，務必請酒店安排城堡一側的房間！ 酒店的早餐價格稍微偏高，但有兩種選擇，可以到地下一樓選擇套餐型日式早餐，或是在一樓享用西式自助餐。 特別推薦一樓的自助餐，非常美味！

出差時一直住這家，期間想換口味，結果後悔都來不及，之後就索性不考慮那麼多了，必須要住這裏的！理由簡單 早餐還算齊全，大堂乾淨整潔，還有溫泉，車位多

是去考試的，夜裡到清早走，沒能享受美麗的環境，地理位置很好，但夜幕降臨無法出門，因為從商店街走回旅館爬山有一段很黑，用手機開手電筒才找到旅館的，很危險。 早上看清晨的尾道非常美，日式榻榻米睡着也沒有不舒服，早上晚上可以去咖啡館喝咖啡這點也很好，雖然工作人員拉的花不好看，但味道沒問題。 住宿唯一體驗不好的是旅館的浴室很陳舊，衹有沐浴露洗髮水提供沒有護髮素，並且不會主動給牙刷牙膏什麼的（我是自帶的，不知道問他要要不要收錢）旅館想買也沒有梳子早上無法梳頭，想買生活用品工作人員說最近的便利店要走二十分鐘（畢竟在山上沒辦法）。 圖是晚上房間拍的

Stayed 1N. This is a very small hotel. It is located facing the water and beautiful sakura trees. The lobby is located at the back street and the restaurant is at the front of the building. Check-in was quick and the front desk personnel were hospitable. I was assigned a room facing the water and the sakura trees which were in full bloom. The room is typically small by Japanese standards. Only 1 small hard pillow, firm bed. Strong Wifi signal. Breakfast was a semi-buffet - the mains came in a tray and the breads, cereal and juices were self-service. The owner is an elderly gentleman who took the trouble to meet and greet guests at breakfast. No on-site onsen. You'll need to take a taxi to the nearest bathhouse.

This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

Bright, clean and comfortable but not very Japanese (after staying in a few ryokans you may see this as a good thing). Our room had lovely views over the harbour and it’s a stones throw from the station. This makes it an ideal location for the night before cycling the Shimanami Kaido. In view of a couple of night of impending raw fish we had pizza in the attached Italian ( well sort of) restaurant. Lovely, helpful staff but felt embarrassed by our fellow countrymen who made no attempt to communicate with them except by talking loudly and slowly.

ルートインは最近気に入って、この１ヶ月でも３カ所目の利用です。 最近１ヶ月では１０泊程の旅行をしていますが、この三原駅前は別格でした。 まず、ルームキーを渡されて部屋に行くと誰かが利用中の部屋でした。 部屋の鍵も開きましたが、部屋の中に服とかかけてあり空き缶があったりしてました。 外出中に誰か知らない人が入れる状態とか怖すぎます。 すぐに部屋を変えてくれましたが、変えた後に禁煙の部屋になりますと言われました。 わざわざ喫煙ルームを予約しているのに何も聞かずに禁煙にするとは呆れました。 どうして私が喫煙ルームまで足を運ばなければならないのか。 しかも、その廊下が汚い。 チェックインしたときから廊下は散らかっていましたが チェックアウトの時までどうしてあれほど散らかっているのか。 廊下に利用済みのタオルとか落ちているのですよ。 その中を通ってタバコを吸いに行くだけでも気分が悪かったです。 他に良い口コミを記載されている方もいますが 本当に同じホテルなのでしょうか。 ダブルブッキングどころか既に利用者がいる部屋のキーを発行できたり 宿泊人数よりも多くカードキーが発行されるなど どんなセキュリティー管理がなされているのでしょう。
