La Vittoria Boutique Hotel

Based on other reviews we were really looking forward to our stay at Boutique Hotel La Vittoria. Unfortunately, it was not as good as we had anticipated. On the positive front, it is very well located overlooking the lake, it is well maintained, our room was very clean and house keeping services were excellent. So, what was not so good. Firstly we booked a junior suite, which based on other reviews, we thought would have a view over the lake and a serviceable balcony. We had a view over the main road at the back of the hotel and a balcony large enough for standing only. Very disappointing. We also felt that the hotel lacked any atmosphere, with both the the bar and restaurant overlooking the lake being exceptionally quiet during our stay, unlike most of the hotels nearby. The breakfast was poor in terms of options and variety. It appeared to be the lowest standard that a hotel of this level could get away with. This was one of four places we stayed at on Lake Garda and Lake Como and by far our poorest breakfast offering. Although our room had a coffee machine we were surprised to be asked on leaving how many capsules we had used, as although we were there for four nights only two capsules were complimentary and any additional ones were charged out at one Euro each. Needless to say this did not apply at any of our other hotels we stayed at during our lakes tour. It would be fair to say that we'll be staying at another hotel when next go to Garda.

We had the most genuine and peaceful time in Lake Garda, and we owe most of that to the ownership, staff and supporters of this beautiful hotel. For us it wasn’t really a hotel stay, but more like staying with family (that we like a lot!!!!). We highly recommend a stay here if you are a first time or a regular visitor to the area. Make sure you say hi to Scooby, the hotel’s mascot, for us. Greg & Diane

Amazing hotel! This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We stayed here with our 16 year old daughter in one of the junior suites and we couldn't have wished for a more elegant, chic and friendly hotel. The location is one of the best in Garda. If you get the opportunity to stay here go for it!!!

Excellent lake front location. We were fortunate to book the balcony lake view room which was well worth the additional expense. Welcoming hosts and good service throughout. Great choice at breakfast, including prosecco and freshly cooked options. Would definitely return.

The first day we were going to arrive late due to flight delays, I kept the hotel up to date and when we arrived at 0130, we were greeted by friendly staff who I think had waited up. Outstanding. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated, Its like a set from an Agatha Christie novel. All the staff are amazing and could not help enough, with the rooms being cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc. The continental breakfast is excellent, with fresh produce and bacon, sausage and eggs too. Food at the hotel restaurant is simply outstanding. The hotel sits directly on the lakeside and is approx. 100m form the ferry jetty from where you can get a boat to any town on the lake. You really don't need a car, if you're there for a few days. We had an amazing few days here, visiting a few towns around the lake via the ferry, and Garda itself is a stunning town with loads of shops, markets on different days and bars and restaurants. The hotel does have a main road to the rear and with your windows open it is very noisy, but this is the nature of the town and location, so not an issue for us. We will definitely be going back, its been one of the best holidays we've had, and the staff at the hotel are part of that - thank you.

This was the perfect hotel for our group of 6. We loved that it was at the end of the waterfront because it offered more privacy and was only a city block away from parking across the street. It was also near the ferry which made it convenient for trips around the lake. The hotel staff was exceptional and helped us constantly throughout our stay with any and all questions that we had. The rooms were very well appointed and everyone enjoyed and appreciated the larger shower which even had a bench! Request room 1 that has a LARGE outside terrace that is the entire corner of the hotel overlooking the lake. We used it for evening drinks at sunset. It was beautiful!
