Myrion Beach Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Newly built in high standard with great staff and location just by the sea. Only downside is the beach with more stones than sand but the turtles love it and that is an experience to learn about their life! Poolside daytime is magical and very calm!

This was my fifth trip to Crete, and Myrion Beach & Spa Hotel truly exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere was serene, and the hotel’s beautiful low-rise, modern design retained an authentic Greek/Cretan charm. We stayed in a split-level junior suite that was immaculate and well-designed. The large infinity pool was a highlight, with a great mix of Ibiza chill-out tunes during the day and funky jazz in the evening, creating the perfect vibe. The poolside DJ sets were subtle and added to the relaxing ambiance. Dining was a standout, especially at the Greek à la carte restaurant, where both the food and evening music were superb. The electric violinist with a blend of classical and dance music made for memorable entertainment. The staff were wonderful—special thanks to Elena at reception, Despina the pool lifeguard, Theodora at the restaurant, and the many lovely Maria’s who made our stay so welcoming. Overall, Myrion Beach & Spa Hotel offered a luxurious, relaxing experience with top-tier service and stunning facilities. I will definitely be returning!

My boyfriend and I have just finished our week-long stay at Myrion, and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully designed with stunning interiors. The pool area is fantastic, featuring plenty of sun loungers, relaxing music, and a great restaurant. We opted for half-board, so both breakfast and dinner were included. The dinners were excellent, with different themes each night. The location is great with a bus stop outside that takes you into Platanias and Chania with lots of bars and restaurants available. A few minor drawbacks. The service was generally slow, with long waits for coffee at breakfast and for plates to be cleared. Additionally, the room cleaning was inconsistent; some days, tea and milk were not replenished, and wine glasses from the previous night were not replaced. Despite these minor issues, the staff were very pleasant, and we especially appreciated Petros in the spa and Despina at the pool. We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic experience we have had at this hotel , 12 days of bliss! We booked the Myrion hoping for 5 * service and that's what we got. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we've had the most amazing time . The hotel is Beautiful, clean & luxurious!..The location is perfect , a 1 minute stroll to the gorgeus private beach , and a well placed bus stop in front of the hotel is very convenient to ride into Plantanious & Chania (every 30mins) The room's & service are of a high standard, we were not too happy with the location of our room on arrival & as soon as we let reception know , we were offered another room , it was an upgrade , and just lovely with a sea view , it had two TV's perfect for our 16yr old to watch his You Tube videos . The Fluffy bath robes & Slippers were an added luxury. The food was of a very high standard, it fitted very well with the hotel's 'well being' theme. We had Breakfast & Evening meals. We were kindly left a complimentary bottle of wine & chocolate in our room , as it was our anniversary while staying here. The room's were cleaned daily, tge response to any issues was prompt (safe not working) I had a luxurious Spa treatment , (exfoliation, warm oils , and chocolate body butter ) which was perfect) Finally the biggest compliment goes to the staff..they were amazing, ALWAYS smiling, attentive , helpful, professional & said on many occasions , that our experience was important to them . If its 5* experience you want , then you will have your expectations met here at the Myrion Hotel. We will be back x

We arrived and were offered a glass of prosecco which was a nice gesture, room was fine not huge but adequate, hit and miss on items being replenished in the room but helpful staff when you asked for things. Breakfast not very relaxing items not restocked was waiting for bread to toast. not able to sit outside and where you could sit was debatable. Evening meal a different experience relaxing and a varied choice of dishes. Cats are welcome additions. Used spa for massage, staff friendly and massage good. A good 15/20 minute walk to bus stop, be good idea for bus stop outside hotel to run for whole season. Some music in the evening restaurant area would be nice Sunbeds on beach with parasols. Trips from Kissam9s port available to Balos beach and Gramvousa a nice day out.

I am very sad writing this review as we were extremely excited to visit. From the start until the finish, the experience just wasn’t great. When we arrived to the hotel we were approached by unfriendly receptionist who kept looking is up and down, telling us about how the hotel is fully booked and he has to offer us upgraded room. Only after 5 minutes he disclosed that this would be extra €100 a night. When we said we are not interested, he told us our room is available… after we were taken to the room, there were few things we were surprised by - aircon had a lot of dust in (to the point where my partner was taking allergy tablets throughout our stay), the room service wouldn’t replenish our products and the room was sadly crawling in ants coming through holes in walls. Halfway throughout our stay, my partners pyjama was taken with the bedding by a mistake, which was okay and we understood but as it was Calvin Klein pyjama, we were really keen for them to sort this out and get it back, but again, we only received rude customer service when we called and visited reception on numerous occasions and we never got the pyjama back… at the end of our stay we raised this with the reception and said we weren’t happy which had no response at all and we have also contacted management with all of our concerns, but never heard back. After our visit last couple of years to beautiful hotels such as Ixian Grand at Rhodes or Sofia suites in Santorini, I must say this was terrible experience and we won’t be visiting again. Poor customer service, rude staff and no help from management. You constantly feel looked down on and super uncomfortable. The look of the hotel is a one thing, but you want to feel welcomed and comfortable during your holiday, not uncomfortable and constantly on the edge after paying lot of money… I am attaching some pictures of ants in our room.
