Hotel Gero dengan Tempat Letak Kereta

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The onsen was a highlight—clean, well-maintained, and incredibly relaxing. The accommodation was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. Highly recommended for those seeking a serene and luxurious experience!

Stayed there for two nights. In-room onsen was good, staff at reception excellent. Food was simply terrible. Rice was cold (personally it’s simply unacceptable in any Japanese restaurant except for sushi may be?), the chef seems to enjoy making fusion dishes (and except that they were unappetising). To name but a few, we had strawberry mousse for starter, tofu (which was bitter) and pickles with miso for mains, and who’d put diced apple in an apple sorbet?? (Felt as though I was biting into ice cubes). The waitress was also extremely impatient and rushed us through our meals (we finished our dinners within 35 minutes, breakfasts 20). I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. Sorry, but no.

Excellent! Very satisfied for this onsen hotel!! Definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family. Everything is over expectation: services, facilities, room, public bath (onsen), food, and all. One drawback would be language barrier between some staff, but they really trying to communicate with us which is impressive. Also, there is a free shuttle bus service between train station and hotel during daytime, very convenient. Tips for me is to book this hotel on weekdays, it is half price cheaper than weekends or holidays.

Was told to wait a while but the water never turn warm in the shower Had to join the grannies in the retro public bath Receptionist was nice though Tried his best to explain to me in mandarin and offered me free breakfast when he knew I was alone though I paid for a room for 2

Our stay at Suimeikan in Gero was nothing short of amazing. Despite the hotel's age, it has maintained its charm and offers a truly remarkable experience. The facilities were well-kept, and the traditional ambiance combined with modern conveniences made our visit both relaxing and comfortable. The onsen was a highlight, offering a serene and rejuvenating experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Suimeikan perfectly captures the essence of Gero – a blend of timeless beauty and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

My stay at this hot spring hotel was disappointing, especially in terms of food and service. The dinner experience lacked any semblance of service standards. The food was already placed in the room before we entered, and the waiter merely asked if we lit the fire without offering explanations or providing a menu. They also kept forgetting different cutlery for various dishes, making the experience feel chaotic and unprofessional. The food itself was very ordinary, far below the quality I've experienced at other hot spring hotels. The private onsen was another letdown, as the water switch was broken, leaving us unable to adjust the temperature or flow. This meant enduring uncomfortably hot water throughout. Breakfast was similarly disappointing—simple and uninspired, offering no surprises or variety. Overall, this hotel fell well short of the standard expected from a hot spring retreat.

此次日本中部游下榻的第一家民宿，很棒！服務生禮貌客氣、細心貼心；一泊二食的用餐體驗尤其令人贊歎，送餐到客房，讓你輕鬆卸下旅途疲勞的同時，享受到了如同在家裡的自由舒適之感，日本料理清淡適口，健康美味，無論是早餐還是晚餐，每一個餐具都是那麼精緻，那麼漂亮，像藝術品一樣。。。。。。是此行住過的五家賓館中最令人留戀忘返的一家。

環境：地理位置還不錯哦，出門左轉有網紅🐸布丁和冰激凌，好吃😋旁邊還有温泉博物館，可以泡足浴，門口有很多免費足浴温泉可泡。我們也步行去了合掌村，很不錯。 設施：打乒乓需要預約，大浴場分室內和室外，分開樓層，很舒服，冬天泡室外也不冷。 服務：有下呂到酒店的免費接送班車，有時刻表，很方便。 餐飲：這方面略遜一籌，自助早晚餐品種雖多，但味道很一般，可以不用定晚餐，附近去吃飛彈牛肉烤肉，這裏附近吃飯店關門不是跟早，到8-9點。還有好吃的飛彈牛肉壽司好吃。

An old hotel that retains its grandness.. Although at check in, I was informed there's a charge only if I take the flowery yukata. There are free surprises in the Japanese room every day. Clean Japanese socks, towels in bags and a different Japanese sweet every day with Japanese tea My room faces the Hida River, it was beautiful looking out. It is very near the rail line, but it didn't disturb me. And I suppose all river facing hotels face the same light loving insects. But if you follow the instructions placed in the room, it is alright

the place is famous, for thailand theater shows, foods in many varieties but cant say good. when we check in we are greet by a front desk clerk,with no smile, and tired face.and since i was a foreigner but good in japanese, communication did not go so well though he is not nice explaning everything. but the foreigners workin there is so nice. the ofuro is good but can say not what we expect. in the morning we check out staff were all good and smiling.
