we visited tis hotel for the second year in a row. if in the first year we were just surprised by such a good service, this year we realized that this high standard of this place is their normality. I definitely recommend visiting and trying the Silesian menu and local drinks

The staff and the service is incredibly polite and fast. Never had any problems of any kind. The Hotel is quiet and the bathrooms were very clean. The position of the Hotel is mid-way to a park, the center and the train station. It's probably the best position out there. The only problem i had was with the bed. I'm not a person that complains, at all. I sleep in tents and sometimes even on a sheets on the ground because of my outdoors hobbies and i understand this is an economy hotel. But not even in motels i saw stained and dirty matresses being covered up with a slim foam matress and a blanket. I will come back to this place, but i just hope that this gets improved.

The hotel is in a good location, next to a bus stop and many shops and stores. An Aldi is one block away. I had a junior suite, with a comfortable bed which was like two twins pushed together, desk, 32” Samsung TV (but only 2 English speaking channels), dual sinks in the bathroom, separate corner phone booth size shower and separate tub with its own shower fixture. Fridge and coffee pot, with tea and coffee choices, but no microwave. If you are American, bring a washcloth and AC adapters, as there is no 120v outlet, even in the bathroom. Provided soap/shampoo is squeeze-style. Two bottles of water, one sparkling and one natural, along with maid service were provided each day. The complementary breakfast is 1st rate, with fresh fruits, fresh squeeze (DIY) orange juice, breads and bacon/sausage choices, soft boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. Choice of hot beverages, waffles and European breakfast meats and cheeses, yogurt, cereals, etc. Staff was cordial and professional. Only downside is no mask or use of disposable glove enforcement in the restaurant or the lobby, although mask use in the public areas is required. I did not have dinner at the restaurant, but the menu included 2 fish and 6 meat entrees that averaged about 67 PLN, about $16US at the current exchange rate.

Hotel Silvia Gold Gliwice is located in the centre of Gliwice, 900 metres from the Gliwice Railway Station. It features modern air-conditioned rooms with free internet, an iPod/iPhone docking station and a private parking. All rooms at the Silvia are fitted with LCD TV with cable channels. A modern bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Some feature a refrigerator and a safe. Buffet breakfast is served every morning in the breakfast room on the first floor. It specialises in regional and international dishes. The hotel's guests get a free mug of home-brewed unpasteurized beer.

Good value for money. Clean, helpful staff. Beds are rather weak point of this hotel. All in average similar to Ibis kind of style. Wold be great to have a gym. TV system rather weird. Good restaurant. Spacious parking. I'd rather recommend it if you look for good value for money. Bathrooms clean, shower systems kind of outdated, but all works just fine. Rooms are rather small, basic, but very clean and practical. Free Wifi is also good.

Hôtel situé dans le centre ville très proche du Rynek. Les chambres sont très spacieuses mais peuvent paraître un peu kitch. La salle de bain est équipé d'une baignoire jacuzzi mais devrait offrir plus de possibilité pour faire sécher les serviettes. Le personnel semble des fois un peu dépassé. Attente à l'arrivée car 3 personnes en même temps et il semble apparemment nécessaire d'avoir 2 réceptionniste pour réaliser un check-in. Changement de chambre car plus de dispo pour une chambre twin. La bonne nouvelle est un surclassement dans un appartement où on nous indique que l'on va amener les draps pour le lit supplémentaire. Les draps sont bien apportés mais après 10 minutes, on comptend que l'on doit déplier le lit et le faire nous même (avec la mauvaise surprise d'une housse de couette pour le matelas). Attention quand il fait très chaud hors saison estivale... l'hôtel étant en mode ”chauffage”, aucune possibilité d'activer la climatisation... reste la fenêtre à ouvrir, ce qui peut être bruyant côté rue quand une voiture circule sur les pavés. Attention également pour les places de stationnement qui ne peuvent pas se trouver facilement dans les environs sauf après le coucher du soleil...
