I don’t tend to leave poor reviews at all but this experience was particularly unpleasant. Booked four rooms for family members to stay in on the night of my wedding at Elmore Court, but our guests were told they were only able to stay in three - with guests therefore made to share a bed - again, this is despite us having paid for four. Key, though, is that since then, instead of trying to help us to resolve the issue, the Mooring Post has been nothing but defensive, rude and unpleasant to deal with, offering really strange reasons as to why we couldn’t have a refund on the room we paid for. Eventually, after a huge hassle, they begrudgingly agreed to give a partial refund for the room they didn’t let us use, but even this small refund hasn’t materialised. I can’t comment personally on the rooms as I didn’t stay, the guests said they were fine, but that they couldn’t wait to leave in the morning due to the uncomfortable atmosphere in the place. I’d urge you to think twice about spending your money with these people. Hopefully the mooring post can see value in training the staff to turn it around, particularly as there do seem to be several reviews mentioning really bad service and MIA refunds.
