Hotel Glyfada dengan Bar

We booked the hotel Lastminute. It was rated 4 stars. But it felt more like 3 stars. The room was ok, but the bathroom was small. There was mold in the douche, and the douche was very small, dated. The room was reasonable clean. We got two bottles free water, the minibar was empty. The tv in the room was very small and limited international channels. Last day we didn’t receive free water bottles, and the reception was quite rude, as they said only the first day it was free. While we got free bottles every day, we stayed 7 days. The breakfast was fine, essentially the same every day. Selecrion was, just ok. Nothing special. It was more 3 star quality. The a la card restaurant, had surprisingly reasonable prices. The food quality was fine, but not 4 star high quality. It was more normal basic restaurant. The roof pool was ok, small, with one end quite deep 2m, and other part indeed 1m. The hotel is quite close to bus stops. Some good restaurants, shops are 5 minutes away. A public beach is close by. But it is necessary to cross a busy road. In the room the view was to see, but it was close to busy street. So some noice was there from cars, but with close windows, it was not an issue. We had regular issues with the key cards to our room. Overall the hotel is quite reasonable. But it is more like 3 stars, then 4 stars. The rooms slaan use some updates. The service I. The room can be improved with stack minibar, free water. The a la card restaurant can be better by serving more quality food. A better selection for the breakfast would also make a difference. the hotel is around 1 hour away from the centre of Athens. the bus stops around every 15-30 minutes. You cannot buy a ticket in the bus. You can request from hotel. Else get a card from metro station machines.

Definitely recommend this hotel. I've never written a review before. Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile. Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements. And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out. Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower. One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. Top. 💯

I booked on Booking.con for 11 nights. My son and I were traveling together. I have been to Glyfada many times and from the outside and lobby Congo Palace looked great. The room we were given had dirty smelly carpet, the coils in the mattress were felt as you laid down. I went down to ask for another room and was told I needed to upgrade…which I did. The renovated room was nice but the shower had no curtain and water went everywhere. They were doing construction and the noise was awful. The noise from the road was ridiculous, felt like I was sleeping in the road. To make matters worse, my son was sick and we left 5 days early. They refused to speak with me about a refund. They did not return emails to Booking or me. I have emailed 3 times with no response. Staff was nice to my face but I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I wanted to take the time to write a review having arrived home yesterday from a 7 night stay at the Oasis Hotel Apartments as we had such an amazing time. Before arriving I had reservations having read the mixed reviews. We chose this hotel as we travelled over for a wedding and the hotel was between the Church and reception venue and also appealed to us as a family. We travelled with our 11 month baby. Despite a lot of the booking websites saying that cots were not available (therefore we took our own travel cot), we were offered one at the hotel and there was plenty of space to set our travel cot up within the bedroom of our suite. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the pool was busy with reasonably loud music (as it was on Saturday during the day). Our room overlooked the pool but the noise didn't bother us at all. During the week the music is chilled and quieter and cannot be heard from the room. A lot of the photos don't show the parasols around the pool - as we had a baby we were always able to find a shady area to sit around the pool. The main sunbeds are in the sun but you can get one and set it up in the shade if you prefer. There are also a lot of trees around the complex offering shade also. The pool bar and menu is extensive and we always found something to eat and drink. Thank you also to Giorgio for his special cocktail! The breakfast is served 7am - 10am and there was always plenty to choose from. The waiters even brought over food for our baby by their own effort and there were several high chairs available to use. They were all so friendly towards us and our baby, always making him smile and entertaining him! The hotel is next to the main road, and traffic can be heard - however it didn't affect us at all. When the room air conditioning is on the traffic noises were dulled and our baby actually slept through the night without waking each night (something he doesn't do at home!). The kitchenette area meant we had space to wash up his bottles and I could sterilise them with boiled water (there isn't a microwave but there is an oven and small hob). The beds were spacious and very comfortable and the room made up each day with fresh towels. Pool towels are provided by reception. Our room had smart TV's in both the living area and bedroom meaning we could log into Netflix / YouTube / Amazon Prime if we wanted. We used the tram quite frequently (tram stop about 5/10 min walk down towards the beach). It cost 9 EURO each for a 5 day pass and we used it to travel further up the coast most evenings to visit various beach bars in the Kalamaki Beach area. We also travelled into main Glyfada where there are loads of shops and restaurants (it's a 10/15 minute walk but it was very hot for us!). We also used it to travel into Athens which requires one change in tram lines but we found it easy to navigate. We relied more on Google Maps for the times, as at some of the stops the display isn't always accurate but we never had any issues,

The room was small but very nice, it had everything you could possibly need! I love the addition of the coffee machine as someone who drinks coffee in the morning. There’s also an iron and board in case you might need to iron any clothes. The bed was super comfortable and I usually have trouble with my neck and lower back if the pillows are not just right, these were spot on, so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud! The staff are also absolutely amazing and they are so attentive and friendly I loved every minute here. The hotel is also by the beach so you can enjoy a day out at the beach! The only thing I will say and this has nothing to do with the hotel itself is that it’s a bit of a walk from the centre if you’re looking to eat out.

The Athens Coast Hotel is at the coast but not on it. Instead, it is ground central for fine shopping and many of Glyfada’s highest rated restaurants. Offering clean, compact rooms with antiseptic, contemporary décor, this hotel is an ideal choice for a short visit. Plusses include a good welcome, large firm bed, excellent lighting and outlets, a safe large enough for a laptop and showers with strong pressure and high heat. Room service is responsive. The small decks are available to smokers. Amenities are minimal but include a kettle, fridge and a desk large enough for correspondence. Less than ideal are the lack of drawers for clothing and minimal towels (no wash cloths). The on-street parking, frankly, is a pain although spaces fluctuate with the workday. Very quiet nights from street sounds. Inside, though, I could hear my neighbor’s TV.

On line the pictures look great but this is not the reality. Reception is the only place that should receive a high star rating. The rest of the hotel is probably a 2, possibly low 3 star. It is very tired and in desperate need of re-decorating, especially in the common areas. Exposed flaky plaster on the walls on more than 1 floor. (no sign of any maintenance during our stay) – 7 nights. We had a sea view room so weren’t disturbed by the traffic, but this wouldn’t have been the case on a “city view room” note there is no view of the city, more like “Shell Petrol view” or “Dual carriageway view” Our room was fine, the beds were really comfortable, but this is purely subjective. The bathrooms are very old fashioned. We moved rooms during our stay and in both bathrooms you had to stand in the shower to stand in front of the basin to clean your teeth. Shower curtains were old and were too short to reach the sill, so water leaked everywhere. The hairdryer was fairly useless, the wall mounted kind, the sort you’d have found at the swimming pool changing room in the early 70’s ! Didn’t use the swimming pool as it was dirty – slime around the edges on the waterline. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. The carpet in all corridors are stained and really quite disgusting. The building next door was under construction and the building work started early, so a very noisy start to the day. Location – The Bad points It's on a very busy 6 lane duel carriageway and very noisy all day and night. Go onto Google street view and see for yourself ! A little bit too far out of Glyfada town, unless you’re OK with a 30 min walk along the beach promenade. However this is flat, easy walking and well lit, so not a problem. There's no real ”life” close to the hotel, apart from the Shell petrol station which is directly opposite the hotel, which is a great location marker if you take the bus from the Airport, or an “Everest” sandwich bar which is equivalent to a Subway. (it’s just a shack) Location – Good points Right on the beach and close to a marina, but was quiet in October so not a real buzz which is what you usually expect from a Marina and they’re usually close to restaurants. There is one, but only 1 which is about a 5 min walk along the promenade from the hotel. Bus stops right outside the hotel so very easy to get a bus from the airport and also into Athens city. The buses are old, filthy but fairly reliable - We bought a 5 day pass which covers trams and buses. Tram stops – there are 2 either side of the hotel - within a 2-3 min walk, so great getting into Glyfada town where there are numerous bars, fast-food and independent restaurants & cafés. Trams are very efficient, timed boards show arrival times, they’re clean, air con and have Wifi, but do take at least an hour into Athens centre.

I visit Athens at least once a year, I stay in London Glyfada for the last 6 years, EXCELLENT hotel Excellent Hospitality, Service, Cleanliness The food is amazing, quality, and taste is the same and even better every time. All staff are very well trained in being responsive, communicative, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend LONDON Glyfada Greece, as their services consistently meet and exceed the client's standards.

A family friendly hotel with kind and helpful staff. Great facilities including a pool and restaurant. The rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast with a good variety of choices. Only a short walk to restaurants, shops and Hop on Hop off Bus. We truely enjoyed our stay. Thank you

El hotel se encuentra en una zona tranquila y bonita aunque algo lejos de Atenas, acrópolis (40 min en bus y metro). El hotel se ve renovado y muy bonito, el personal súper amable y dispuesto a ayudarte con todo, hablan varios idiomas así que seguramente una persona de recepción hable tu idioma y te resulte más fácil entenderte con ellas. La única pega es que en la avenida que pasa justo al lado del hotel es muy amplia y por la noche se escuchan ruidos de motos pasando a gran velocidad, el aislamiento de las ventanas se podría mejorar aunque pudimos descansar perfectamente.
