Bad, we arrived in 3, a couple and a friend, we had booked for two rooms separated by an arch in which in one there was a double bed and in the other a single bed, we arrived at the structure and they gave us a room with a double and single bed practically attached, and totally different from the photo, we went down and presented our problem, who worked on duty, very kind, offered us the money back the next morning, so we booked another hotel, in the while we were waiting for the taxi he also offered us another room for the other person and one for the two of us, which at this point was fine but we had already paid for another hotel, we thanked and explained that we made another reservation from another party, he asked us for bank details to send us the money and we left, today 2 days later I call the hotel to ask for money and they tell me that they don't give me anything that was written on the description as the room was and not to look at the photos

We were very happy with our stay at popi star. All staff were helpful and kind. Rooms were lovely and clean.. cleaned everyday. You have toiletries in the bathroom but also I would advise you take your own. There are no facilities to make a hot drink but you do have a fridge. Breakfast you had so much choice and all tasted lovely. The only Negative for me was around the pool there were only two umbrellas around the pool. But to others this might not be a negative. We were surprised this hotel is only 2 star. In a perfect location. I did read that the beach wasn't very nice but we found it fine. You pay for Beds and umbrellas 12€. You have I think it was 2 restaurant on the beach. It isn't a sandy beach but for me that's a bonus. There are plenty of restaurants and shops along the main ***** also pubs and a night club/ Disco place. Would use this hotel again. Husband and wife... Age 61

The Popi Star in Gouvia Town deserves more than 2-Stars. It is very good value for money, comfortable and clean with very friendly, helpful staff. There is a good fresh selection for breakfast and a lovely pool and seating area with a bar. All the restaurants and bars are on the doorstep but it is very quiet at night. We had a lovely holiday there and can thoroughly recommend it.

Fantastic location. Helpful, friendly staff. Great pool. I'd go back again anytime. Such a warm welcome. Hugs to every staff member, the pool maintenance man, cleaners, reception staff and bar/breakfast staff. So helpful. I loved it. 10/10

Lovely staff, pleasant bar and reception area. Nice breakfast, great location, but our room was very poor and in need of updating the bathroom was awful!! Asked to move but was told didn't have a spare room. Maybe hotel in process of refurbishment and hadn't reached our room not sure?

Nice place in the center of Gouvia in 20 minutes bus 7 ride from Corfu city center. The room is rather spacious with bathroom with bidet and shower, and ante-room with wardrobe and safety-box. There is AC in the room, but available for an extra pay. Rather large balcony with a table and two chairs, nice place to spend evenings. The hotel has a pool surrounded by the sunbeds. There is a breakfast option, which I didn't take, so cannot say much about the restaurant. The stuff speaks English and were very helpful. The beach is very close in 300m. The beach is not the best on the island, but pretty nice combined with boat marina. There is old Venetian shipyard further along the coast. There are some further beaches around the bay. For grocery there is a large supermarket Diellas in 500m very close to the bus stop in direction towards Corfu. Bus stop towards Paleokastritsa is on the other side of the road. If you buy ticket (pink for Corfu) from the machine located on Corfu direction stop, it is cheaper than buying from driver. Gouvia is a small tourist village with one street where all hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops are located - no need to go far.

Great hotel and location to gouvia. The staff were amazing and Great company specially the bar staff. Pool area nice and quiet and the hotel was very clean. Bad points - Hotel is a bit dated and old. Could not sleep on the beds as they are as hard and concrete. Breakfast very basic not much selection. Canny trip overall will defo be back to corfu.

I love this hotel and hope to return in 2024. The staff are brilliant and the hotel is small enough not to be impersonal. My room gets cleaned daily, the pool is also very clean. The position of the hotel is really great as you are within 5 minutes of lots of tavernas providing great food. What more can you want.
