The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman

We came here to relax and recharge. Service here is incredible. The beach is amazing. Get a cabana to enjoy the beach even more. Sean was our server for the day and he is so lovely. The food here is very healthy with nice portions. We really enjoyed Saint June for dinner and for lunch by the beach. Def a great place to return often to rest. The resort is quieter this time of the year if you’re looking for some peace and not a scene.

I haven’t left yet. I leave tomorrow unfortunately but I am so blown away that have to leave my review now. This has been such a stellar experience. The service here is unbelievable. I haven’t had to lift a finger and all my needs have been anticipated. The beach service really blew me away. I was getting too much sun in my daybed and they created a canopy to block it out. I went to the gym and didn’t even have to wipe my equipment, they literally jumped and stopped me from getting the wipe and did it for me. I haven’t had to open one door. I was even offered chamomile tea to help me sleep before bed. I am so thankful for the incredible staff at this hotel. I’m staying on the 7th floor in the ocean towers. My room is immaculate. Housekeeping and turndown service is amazing. I was nervous because I saw a review about roaches but did not experience any of that. This place is spotless. Nothing looks old and outdated. It’s just been redone and everything is clean and beautiful. There are even butterflies flying around everywhere. It’s truly heaven on earth. The food at Taikun was the best sushi I have ever had. Lunch at Saint June was good but not great although I only tried nachos and a burger. The piña colada was out of this world though. I have no complaints. When I come back, I will only stay at the Ritz. The stretch of beach is lovely. The water calm and I love all the beach floats. The people are also very nice. It’s not stuffy at all - it’s got a very classy vibe, which I appreciate. Overall this was a very luxurious and incredible trip. I’m so sad to be leaving tomorrow, but so grateful to have FINALLY experienced the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman.

Dear friends, You all remember that I went to Cayman Islands Fashion week a few months ago and decided to stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman I was looking forward to it BTW they charge $2K per night our stay was almost $5K The hotel is awfully old and in scratches everywhere, renovation is a must the food was mediocre the service was not attentive and they did not hear when I was letting them know that I am tired they were continuing their long speeches, just to sell their club level access for $600 the worst part of it I HAD A ROACH ON MY BED THE FIRST NIGHT AT THE HOTEL They not only didnt return the money, they offered $500 discount and gave complimentary cabana I thought Im getting $500 per night the manager had such a heavy accent that it was no way to undersrand what he offers so i didnt pay attention I thought American Express will return the money guess what they are on the side of big corporations i am writing this so you all know never stay at that particular SHADY property #ritzcarlton #ritzcarltoncayman #ritzcarltongrandcayman

Just returned from a week long stay at the Ritz, Seven Mile Beach Grand Cayman. It was our first visit to the island. We’ve been on some amazing island vacations but this was definitely one of the best. The island, the beach, the water were all stunning, and the hotel was a stand-out. We stayed on the top floor in an oceanfront room with killer ocean views especially of the sunset. Our room had club lounge access which was great for stopping to grab a quick breakfast or a snack throughout the day. Daniel and his team in the club lounge were so thoughtful and really took care of us throughout the week, as did the entire staff. It’s The Ritz, so the service is unparalleled. We were celebrating an anniversary and there was a small cake waiting for us upon check in and another anniversary dessert with one of our dinners compliments of the staff. Our room was spacious with a comfortable four poster bed, plenty of sitting areas, and a balcony with those killer views. It was cleaned daily and we also had turn down service each evening. We took advantage of the club lounge for breakfast each day and often had drinks and some light fare by the pool. The frozen drinks, while expensive, were excellent especially in the heat! The staff came by the pool area daily with frozen fruit, towels, small smoothies, etc. There was never a problem getting pool or beach chairs and the staff set them up nicely, and recorded times so no one could save chairs and then leave for most of the day. The beach area was also not too overcrowded and there are trampolines and large floats tethered in the water which was great for relaxing. We did eat off site many evenings but we ate at Seven on the property and this restaurant is not to be missed. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. The resort is huge with two pools areas (one is smaller and a bit hidden), and small water park splash area for little kids near the smaller pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, golf access, a basketball court, a small game room, and of course, a wonderful spa. There are also restaurants on the property with indoor and outdoor dining. The resort has so many amenities for all types of travelers. One reviewer mentioned lots of kids during her trip. We didn’t really experience that. There were definitely a lot of families traveling but it did not feel like it was overrun with small kids (especially with the splash area being more out of the way). It’s an upscale resort and all the guests we encountered were very friendly and respectful of each other’s space. The staff was great at arranging reservations for us off site and arranging transportation for us to explore the island. David Smile was our taxi driver for many of our excursions and he was so friendly and informative. Overall, the trip was a dream. My husband and I both agreed it spoiled us for traveling and staying elsewhere in the future. We definitely plan to be back.

From beginning to end, the service was impeccable. The staff (Joshua, Calita, Kayla, Crisena, Tati, Justin) went out of their way to made our anniversary and wife’s birthday week very special. The staff are some of the nicest people we have ever met and can’t wait to return.

The staff was exceptional!!! Everyone was kind and sincere and went out of their way to be helpful. We’ve been to several Ritz around the world and this was the most memorable experience. They are all great which is why we keep coming back but this was over the top. Thank to the management, front desk Helena, concierge Nickola and Angel, cabana service Mladin and Patricia, and all of the staff at Seven especially Sansa, Ryan, and the hostess (I’m so sorry her name eludes me). We are returning with our 3 boys to allow them to experience the same. Thank you them all for making it a great trip.

You can NEVER go wrong at a Ritz Carlton property, and The Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman is no different! The staff are top-notch and the service is over-the-top. Food and drinks are fantastic and the location on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman is truly gorgeous!

Family vacation. We had a really nice time. The service and staff were wonderful and very friendly. It's a very pretty hotel and the beach is spectacular. The rooms are very pretty though a bit small. We had two connecting rooms and it was very comfortable for our family of five. Overall, one of our favorite vacations.

We loved our stay and really it’s the staff that make it so enjoyable and memorable. The valet staff, pool staff, tennis staff, housekeeping all were excellent. Claver in particular was very welcoming and provided excellent service. We also made friends with a few of the folks at the pickle ball and one lady in particular who was so helpful in going over the rules with us. Fitzroy was also great. We had a great time - thank you!
