Ho soggiornato con mia moglie all’Hotel delle Cave il 30 aprile 2022 per una notte.
Bellissima struttura, decentrata ed immersa nel verde, con la parte che deve essere visitata di Matera facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi in circa 30 minuti.
Il confort delle stanza decisamente ottimale con il personale attento e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta degli ospiti.
Ciliegina su tutto la colazione abbondante, di ottima qualità e variegata.

Great hotel in Matera for those who don't mind driving everywhere. The hotel itself is excellent - the rooms are large and well-appointed, the breakfast is good, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful (they provided very useful recommendations for both sightseeing and dining options). And there's ample parking on the property itself. For us, it was the perfect option.
But it's important to note that the hotel stands on a busy road without sidewalks. So, even though it's within a 15-minute walk from many restaurants and within 30 minutes from the Sassi, it's highly inadvisable to go by foot and you should plan on driving. On the plus side, we had no trouble finding parking near any of our destinations in town.

We booked this hotel at booking and when we arrived, hotel was closed. No one answered to calls and messages. We send 1 hour front of close hotel at the middle of the night! Worst ever experience Beware!!! Do not book this hotel if you do not want this problem

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel while we visited Matera. It is located about 5-10minutes by car from Matera.
The rooms were spacious and modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and well tasty.
With a pool this hotel would be absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Un hotel che va nella mia top ten (e facendo l'inviato per un grande giornale ne ho visti migliaia) per la straordinaria aria verde che lo circonda, la ampiezza delle camere, l'ottima dormita, il bagno di notevole qualità (belli i sanitari neri...) e la cortesia del giovane receptionist che mi ha accolto.

We werden enorm vriendelijk verwelkomd, kregen allerlei tips en voelden ons welkom. Het geweldige ontbijt en de ruime superschone kamer zijn een pre. De drukte van de weg is goed geisoleerd en door de airco en het fijne bed is het zeer comfortabel logeren.

La facciata della struttura non è splendida e siamo entrati con un po’ di diffidenza ma, in realtà la struttura è molto carina, il giardinetto interno molto bello e curato, le camere non eccellenti ma belle e pulite e quello che ha fatto la differenza è stata la cortesia, disponibilità e la simpatia del personale
