What a beautiful hotel. Amazing location, fantastic interior and delightful staff. The rooms are just amazing and breakfast was very good. It is situated right in the heart of the historic town with lots of great restaurants near by. The housekeeper should be treasured - she was amazing and the porter was really nice as well Well worth a visit

My wife and I stayed here for one night to see Matera. The hotel, our room, and amenities were all outstanding. A particular compliment to Rocco at the reception desk who gave us great advice for our next stop in Bari and Linda at the bar who was very gracious. The location is perfect to walk and see the sights of Matera. I agree that using the hotel’s parking arrangement outside of Sassi with the accompanying shuttle is the best way to proceed.

I have never in my life been in a cooler hotel. I am on a tour with Secret Italia and we have 7 rooms. Each of us said “ WOW” when we opened our front door. First class staff, amenities and rooms. Nothing was missed in planning this resort. I highly recommend if traveling in Matera. The location is perfect for site seeing on foot. I cannot say enough about this resort except that I don’t want to leave tomorrow.

Most exclusive italian design at its best. You cannot imagine a more succeeded renovation conserving the ambiance of the caves with the most ultra luxury modern design making the resort THE pristine luxury destination in Matera. Everything is high class from the organisation of welcome before your arrival with the shuttle service from the central parking to the welcome at the property by Cristian to the stay itself. The staff makes everything possible to make your stay the most special experience. Matera is a unique place that we hope will manage to conserve its uniqueness and cultivated way of tourisme and this despite all the visitors emerging every day.

I loved my 2 night stay. The staff is excellent: Friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is yummy with lots of options. The room was charming and I felt as if I were surrounded by history. The property is beautiful, clean, and walkable. The surrounding restaurants are excellent. I wanted to bring my dogs, but seemed to be too much trouble. Although once I arrived I wish I had. I advise using the resorts shuttle and garage service; it is pricey but saves a lot of time and trouble of lugging your things around. I would have love a workout room/gym, and a spa/massage service on the property would have been perfect. I very much enjoyed the services I received from Beatrice, Linda and Dominico. I will be back!

We loved our 3 night stat at this hotel. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are amazing with a suction glass door that makes the most satisfying spaceship sound. The spa shower, super soft robes and cool showers lighting made this bathroom our favourite in our 3 week Italy vacation. The breakfast was delicious every day. The staff were wonderful. Shout out to the breakfast room staff. They went above and beyond for our group everyday. Linda, Bet ( I cannot remember her name) and I believe the gentlemen's name was Dominic. They were all great and very professional. We ate at Puid Sud ( OK pizza) one night and at Kieve another night. Kieve was very good.

Hotel was lovely. A great location, probably the best you can get. Fantastic room and spotlessly clean. All staff (with the exception of senior management) were very friendly and couldn’t do more to help. We booked the hotel partly for the stunning roof terrace and we’re really excited to have a drink up there on arrival. The barman however had to negotiate for us to sit on the terrace as a photographer and senior management team were taking photos and made it very clear were not happy about us being there; specifying where we should sit (no problem) and then standing between us and the view - despite not taking any photos. Unfortunately it ruined our first impressions of the hotel.

This was very special place that we stayed for 6 nites. Our suite was beautiful with details for our comfort. Breakfast delivered to our room each morning by a cheerful Yvonne. She made our stay the best. Great location for seeing the neighborhoods
