Baymont by Wyndham Greensboro/Coliseum

It’s OK for a cheap hotel, for one night. 

We paid for the stay on the ******* site, but when my wife arrived for check-in the clerk demanded a $100 CASH "deposit" to stay. My wife and daughter then left (it was around midnight when they arrived in town) and found another hotel nearby. We are still trying to get a refund for the stay.

I was looking for a hotel that included breakfast. Breakfast is only served on weekends here. I would have looked elsewhere if I’d had this information.

The hotel didn’t have any rooms available and was sold out. Even though I was allowed to book online

We did not stay. It was horrible. Dirty we had to step around a leaking garbage bag to get into the building. No water in toilet to flush the toilet, stained couch, broken knobs on dressers. We dewant a refund!!!!

Not the best place but it’s somewhere semi comfortable to lay your head for the night. Last resort option. Bathroom wasn’t as clean as I hoped but it worked. Front desk staff has always been great and helpful.

unfriendly staff was advertised with breakfast service,but they put a hand written sign at the breakfast room door /no breakfast today ??? " corporate office should check the standards and enforce them. not only will never come to this property but also any Baymont .

A little dated but the staff was very friendly. Less than 2 miles from the Greensboro coliseum.

The initial room we were assigned had the interior lock busted off the door. It was lying on top of a dresser. The door had clearly been kicked in. That is not what you want to see as soon as you walk into the room. I requested a different room and was given one on the second floor and told it was directly above the check-in desk. I had to go outside and enter a stairwell to the second floor that required an electronic room key access. There we men sitting around outside the building which made you feel awkward as to making sure the door closed behind you. The room was not located as told. It was six or seven doors further down the very rough-looking hallway. The newly assigned room was very old as was the interior look of the hotel. The tiles on the bathroom floor literally cracked as you walked into the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and to make matters worse, there was ********** in the shower. It was not cleaned very well. It was a bad experience. Based on the online pictures during reservation, I expected a hotel with a vacation company name like Wyndham attached to it to be a much better experience.
