There is not many choices of food around the hotel. Found one decent local restaurant that serve hot foods. 7-Eleven is just next to the hotel and there are two stores available. Hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Great housekeeping. Fast check in and check out.

Location is too far out. U need taxi every where u go. Train station walking 20min. Hotel lobby is big and spacious. But room is of old design. Aircon is not cold and the bath room no privacy.

Overall is perfect, great location, walkable to shopping area, what a fancy hotel, for sue will come back. I had a good stay there.

The place is in good conditions, clean and organized, the room is in good conditions, with basic amenities and plenty of dirking water. the view for the street is good, the main restaurant is good, and all the personnel in the restaurant speak English, that is great. The parking lot requires more signs to make easy to find the lobby of the hotel, it is not clear and not easy.

Absolutely horribly experience ordered room service soup which arrived cold and I was sick a hour or two after eating it I ordered some medicine and Gatorade and humbly asked the staff because I wasn’t feeling well to help bring it to the room from the delivery guy they shut it down very rudely The room was cold AC didn’t work and they gave us paper thin blankets Absolute waste of money I checked out even before my due time

Quick efficient check-in and departure. Rooms are lack of maintenance. I was given a room with a broke ceiling which doesn’t allow me to close the bathroom door. Later, notice there was a hole, size of my palm, which was not ceiled and repaired properly in the bathroom wall. In the second room, I found a used tooth brush by the bathroom door rail. Breakfast was good with lots of variety.

Not the level of service expected by a Sofitel. AC as not working fine in the room and despite lowering the temperature to minimum, was still quite warm. Shower was showing lack of maintenance with very few water coming out from top tab.

Landing in Guangzhou, my friends have been recommending Sofitel Hotel before, so I checked in directly on arrival. The environment is very good, quiet and not noisy, the service is also very satisfactory, especially praise the guest relations department Kelsey, very considerate. The hotel is fine but the restaurant on the second floor gradually becomes worth. The quality of food is going down prices are rising. Gauda cheese was served with mold (see the pictures) Lamb was old so it was stinky Fruit were tasteless Not even close to 5 star hotel! Pastry was fine but let's give it some time Please don't go there to avoid poisoning.
