The staff are polite and attentive, and the breakfast spread is diverse. A stroll around the lake is incredibly pleasant, making it perfect for family relaxation. I'll definitely be back!

The environment is quite nice, but many people come in to stroll around the park, and the public and private areas are not clearly separated. Also, part of the reservoir road is under maintenance and inaccessible, and the back part of the hotel isn't open, so there aren't many places to explore. However, the breakfast is quite good.

No matter how late or urgent the request, they were always accommodating. The luggage service was meticulous and perfectly discreet. The food was generally high-end and upscale, suitable for team-building events. Some suggestions for improvement: 1. The lunch buffet selection needs optimization. There were too many home-style dishes, BBQ, and crayfish, which felt a bit out of place for a high-end setting. 2. Executive Lounge benefits should allow unlimited, all-day access for those who purchase the service, rather than just a single use. This was disappointing, especially since business entertaining often requires multiple visits. 3. The room upgrade offer wasn't compelling enough. As a Diamond VIP, I was quite surprised. I hope the hotel can better identify repeat guests and high-value customers, focusing on offering new experiences. 4. Increase the restrictions for executive privileges. Reduce the frequency of anime-themed photo ops. I wanted to enjoy afternoon tea outside, but there were many cosplayers and people from Xiaohongshu (a social media platform) doing photoshoots. I hope the hotel can raise the bar and improve the experience; otherwise, it feels a bit odd and out of place.

The room is very comfortable, the surroundings are quiet, and it's very close to Baiyun Mountain, making it a great place to breathe in fresh air. The pool view is beautiful, and you can watch the sunset while swimming in the afternoon! There's also a large botanical garden nearby, making it highly recommended for families with children.

This time, I returned hoping to clear my head and retreat, so my expectations were quite high. The hotel has been renovated, but it lacked the 'wow' factor it had back then. The main advantage is that right across the road from the lobby is Dajinzhong Reservoir, perfect for a walk around if you have time. However, that's really the only area you can explore. The hotel is divided into a main building and a villa area, and guests staying in the main building aren't allowed to walk around the villa area, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Other facilities are decent, typical of what you'd find in a mainstream four-star hotel.

I stayed on the fourth floor, and as soon as I entered the room, I was hit by a strong musty smell. The soundproofing was also poor; I could hear noise from the hallway, people talking downstairs, and even planes flying overhead. The room's decor also lacked attention to detail.

Thirteen years ago, I stayed at Ming Quan Ju. This year, right before Mother's Day, I specifically brought my mother here for a vacation and chose this place again. After a complete renovation, the old look is hard to find, with most of those old-style small buildings gone. Today's Ming Quan Ju is completely new, more elegant and charming than before. I love it here.
