YiBo Hotel Apartment (Guangzhou East Railway Station Zhujiang New Town)

Located right opposite the Guangzhou East railway station connected with 2 MRT lines and shopping malls nearby. Lots of eateries around. Very convenient to get around. The room we booked is spacous with 2 queen size beds. However, the building looks quite dated with some wear and tear. We conmunicate with the front desk on Wechat and the response was prompt. Overall, it is a good choice for exploring Guangzhou.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The room I paid for and the room I received were completely different and since I checked in very late at night I did not want to bother to walk all the way to the lobby in another building to change it. I’m guessing that the person thought they were giving me an upgrade because the room was a suite and had a small kitchen but it was very old and not clean. This app says that the hotel was renovated in 2023 but this room was not renovated at all. The sheets were very stained, the walls and floors were filthy. The floors have not been cleaned with water and soap in a long time. In the bathroom there were urine stains on the ground near the toilet and the hand towels looked used. There were holes in the bedsheets and on the curtains. Thankfully I brought disposable bedsheets to put over the sheets otherwise I could not have slept on the bed. The only good thing was the location very close to Guangzhou East Railway Station.

The room is a bit outdated, but it has a nice view. The location is decent, though the building could use some renovation. Overall, for the price I booked, it’s not bad — good value for money. The bed is comfortable.

This is the hotel that I always visit . Easily accessible to restaurants and shipping malls nearby. The room is clean and comfortable!

Overall the stay was average. Faced difficulty in room AC. It was not working properly

Good location but not a western standard. Just for one short night is acceptable.
