Strategic location. Nearby to Liwan lake. 1 train station away from Shamian Island and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. Friendly staff.

Very good hotel with all the basic amenities. Good location and Convenient because it is very close to mtr station!

If you like authentic historical antique experience this will be totally satisfying. Real antique furnitures and floor tiles you think you have travelled back in time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable price and is a place you will not forget.

The location is on a main road, and with short walking distance to metro station. The corridor and public area is well decorated, but the building does show its age. The bed was hard with a thin mattress but I slept well as I was too tired. AC worked well. i wish the shower was newer. The windows face the main road, didn’t hear much noise, but the view was not nice as the buildings across the street were not well maintained. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

The room we stayed ( 2 bed room) is amazing with antique furniture , the decor is just so beautiful, also, the rooms are spacious, cleaned. What a gem. Close to shopping and sites seeing. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful Definitely return.

The host provided us with excellence service! We arrived at the hotel at late night, 11:30pm, the host provided us guide and pin how to access to the hotel and room through Wechat. Everyday we communicated through Wechat on our requirement like change of towels, adding water bottles etc. On the last day of our trip, our flight was at midnight, so we requested the host to allow us to keep luggage at the hotel until night time. The host was so kind to extend the password validity until night time. It was a great stay in Guang Zhou I would say.

if you are furniture lover i recommend this place . very unique , warmy and cozy. The architecture was super cool ancient style and the reception was great with service mind. location not far from the metro ,easy for walk. i need to give 10 star for this hotel.

convenient location plenty of good and cheap eateries nearby. walking distance to Metro train station. interesting wet Market down the lane. Lady boss went out of her way to help us book and pay for taxis. very responsive to our requests and queries. Only grouse is one bathroom shared by 5 pax with the toilet and shower cubicle together. So cannot use the toilet if someone is having a shower. floor tiles in shower cubicle very slippery so can be dangerous. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

This property location is fantastic with full of amenities around, including wet markets, eateries, sub-ways, supermarkets and 上下九 pedestrian walking street. Host is very proactive, responsive and helpful in every way possible. No reason to rate anything less than 5⭐. Room is clean decorated with beautiful antique furnitures. I'll definitely come back and stay again. Strongly recommended 👍

I love the location of the homestay, it's located in the old area with all these old and historical attractions nearby. It's easy to get to the local food too with just walking distance. You can see how's the daily life of the local Guangzhou people in the area. I love that there's a small booklet in our room, that shows the nearby attractions with the map, and also some recommended restaurants are written in the booklet as well, this is so convenience and time-saving for us as a first time traveler in GuangZhou. Nevertheless, the super efficient service by the host and the staff, they are very attentive and response to our requests, WELL DONE! If you want a quiet stay, this is definitely the best choice compare to staying in some busy streets. Rooms are clean, and there's washing area at the 5th floor, this is exactly what I want :)

Design and settings of the hotel are very impressive

Great historical building in the old town Guangzhou! I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is very close to Liwan lake and historical area. The building is historical building with European architecture and inside is well renovated. Also they have an amazing rooftop to enjoy the evening! The landlord was very helpful and kind. I recommend this hotel to people who want to have different experience in the historical old town!
