Although dated .. still rather comfortable .
We were given high tea upon arriving . Great breakfast catering for both oriental and western . Mr Ting 丁, serves and speaks English at breakfast room … saving my husband ( 老外) from adding sour cream into his cereal !
One disappointment with the Cantonese restaurant . The roast platter was full of fatty meat . But the manager was very kind , upon complain and us not eating it , he took the price off the bill .
Will still recommend .

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is located in the center of the city, just close to the subway station. The services are at high level. The food at the third floor is expensive but the taste is average.

Aircondition not working.. woke up both nights and mornings as Air conditioning suddenly stopped working. unable able to sleep well for the 2 nights.
Technician came and checked on the first night and find room temperature about 25-26degC and fixed the AC. next morning A/C failed again. 2nd night woke up at 1 am from heat of the room. and AC again stopped working again…. so i called the Conciergr again.
Unacceptable for a Sheraton badgel!

My judgment:
- just 2 staffs I met with acceptable English
- breakfast very poor: no cold cut, , no cheese, quality of
food in best case 2nd class, no fish, therefore a lot of
watery vegetables
- no heating in the lobby and lobby lounge no heating at
breakfast, guests were eating in thick winter garments
(temperatures in the morning close to 0°C)
- room cleaning not sufficient
- defect water tap
Never ever again! This is said to be a 5star hotel. Even not 4 stars...!

I have been at other Sheraton hotels around the world and this one had by far the poorest hygiene standards. In addition, the rooms were tiny so was the bathroom and was lucking supplies such as conditioner and hand soap, the restaurant was closing early — around 22:00 — and the breakfast selection was nothing special. Finally, it was very hard to find someone to communicate in English.
