Gulmarg Resorts

Warning: Stay away from this hotel! The value for money is worthless. Our stay was extremely bad, and safety is a major concern with loose electric wires in the showers—posing a serious hazard, even a potential threat to life. No water both in the morning and later in the day after skiing, making basic hygiene impossible. The central heating does not work in the rooms (even if you are told it works, do not be fooled). The dining room lacks cleanliness, and the overall state of the hotel is disgusting. Questionable hygiene practices, such as cleaning used glasses with a dry towel for reuse, raise serious doubts about food safety standards. The room itself was far from clean, no cover over the blankets, imagine how filthy this is. Addressing these issues with the staff and ***ager only resulted in worsening the experience due to their arrogance. 8 peoples with complaints were waiting in the lobby for the ***ager who was hiding in his own room according to the other staff that lacks any responsibility to answer questions of these guests. A regrettable and unsafe stay overall in Gulmarg.

If I am to visit again then I will definitely not stay here. The rooms seemed to have been converted from store rooms or kitchen - small, unfinished. Toilets - we checked two rooms, both had dirty toilets and you know how it feels when you travel from far, check in & see stained toilets. The main building still seemed ok but I was given a room at the adjacent building, which seemed to have been made somehow to warn more money. Though I booked through a travel agency named Breezy travel, 2 months in advance, I got a very bad room and this stay was my worst one in this trip.

The hotel has the sweetest people . They provide excellent service..our family fell ill and they provided hot water at every call..they were very kind..food is good. The rooms are basic. Location is good.
