The staff we amazing! 5 star service. We are expats from Canada and we are always looking for the best places on a budget and this place was great. It was a quieter week for them so the breakfast buffet was A la carte instead which was a plus. Pool is huge and clean. Happy Hour from 4-8 gets you mocktails or cocktails for 2.5$ a drink. Gym and Sauna there too! We wanted a taxi to town could not get one so one of the staff just dropped us off!

Resort curato con bungalow arredati interamente in legno, ampi e confortevoli affacciati sulla bella e ampia piscina che dispone anche di un bar. Il personale sempre gentile e disponibile ad accontentare le richieste dei clienti soprattutto nella realizzazione dei cocktail. La struttura si trova vicino al crab market che è sicuramente l'attrazione principale di kep oltre ai suoi tramonti

I love the whole stay. The staff is well trained, professional. Warm welcome with the homemade taramind juice. The food is fantastic and creative. The architecture is full of history. You felt like indulging in the Cambodia culture. Every stone , pot has some story to tell if you ask. The yoga and the teacher is the best. I came with restless mind and left with a peaceful mind. I still feel the calm and balance after checking out the property a few days later. Many techniques that you learn from there can reapply to your daily life. If you feel stressed, anxious, restless... that's the best place to be.

PPengguna TetamuWe booked 2 rooms for 2 nights during our stay at the Riviera Hotel and Resort in Kep, Cambodia. I was truly impressed by the staff's exceptional friendliness and hospitality. This hotel was one of the few that had a strong WiFi connection which I appreciated. Their tuk-tuk driver provided excellent service, making transportation convenient. The location of the hotel is near to the beach, Kep Rope Zip Cafe, Crab Market (about 5min tuk tuk drive) and Sothy’s Pepper Farm (about 20 min tuk tuk drive). The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident, ensuring a comfortable stay. We had a nice beach view from our room balcony in the second floor. We enjoyed their quiet pool and passion fruit beverage after a long day of exploring Kep. Recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Kep.

MMaxx XThe resort is awesome and the staff is very attentive. Guests are really taken care of and the place is very well maintained.
The only issue for all the area of Kep is the “beautification” project that is going on at the moment which is basically covering all the beach front for hundreds of meters with soil so all the resorts now have no beach or access to the sea, only a sad land of brown soil

PPengguna TetamuA large hotel with not much around it. The staff were helpful and friendly and the Manager spoke good English. The swimming is large, clean and we give it 10/10! The room was spacious and clean. The only downside really was the fact that it was very quiet with only 5 rooms out of a possible 80 were booked during our overnight stay. We only used the hotel for one night as crossing over into Vietnam the following day. As other reviews have said the restaurant does have a canteen feel, unfortunately we were the only ones in it, it the food we had was ok. We feel a bar/lounge would be a welcome and warm addition, although you could order from the restaurant but it lacked in atmosphere. We would stay again if we needed a hotel when passing through Cambodia and Vietnam.

Quiet location - easy access if you have a motorbike or a car. Swimming pool was all good with a good design for small children. Green environment with also a lot of plants. The bathroom was of a small design and the lighting inside wasn't sufficient. Included breakfast had a limited choice especially when it comes to healthy options (vegan/plant-based) - but this we see in most places in SE-Asia - at least there was a fruit option... We thought the staff could be slightly more attentive.

PPengguna TetamuHôtel classe 4 étoiles or il mérite même pas trois étoiles piscine bien mais les transats casser les serviettes il faut aller les chercher à l’accueil personnels qui ne parlent aucune langue étrangère même pas l’anglais le comble de tout le dernier jours car je passe 3 jours on est partie le 16 novembre 2023 je descends à 9h30 pour un départ à l’aéroport à 10:h je remet les passe de la chambre à l’accueil une jeune fille qui travaille avec le réceptionniste elle est partie faire le Check out à ma grande surprise elle appelle l’accueil pour m’accuser d’avoir voler un peignoir je demande au guide de l’expliquer que j’avais qu’un dans la chambre et pas deux mais ils persistent sur leur accusations du coût on monte dans la chambre avec le guide pour lui préciser qu’il avait qu’un mais sans résultas du coup j’insister pour ouvrir ma valise et mon sac pour qu’il vérifie devant mes amis , le guide et les personnels de l’hôtel c’est une humiliation pour moi car je montre mes lingeries à des inconnus mais c’était mon. Choix pour qu’ils se rendent comptes de leurs erreurs finalement il me dit c’est bon mais pour moi c’est un manque de respect pour des touristes venue visiter leurs pays je craquer en larme car je mis 15mn pour qu’il comprennent le réceptionniste est venu me chercher dehors pour s’excuser mais pour moi pas possible d’accepter leurs excuses et je conseil à personne d’aller dans cet hôtel de à cause de cette histoire je garde une mauvaise souvenir du Cambodge et je déconseille vivement d’aller dans l’hôtel Kep bay

PPengguna TetamuThe manager of the hotel was really friendly and chatted with me when I arrived. The other staff members I spoke to in the bar were nice and attentive. The location of the hotel is perfect for the beach and the restaurants nearby. The rooms have large glass doors so you can see the sea from your room easily. The hotel bar has a lot of drinks and a full menu of food and snacks. The room was clean and big - there is a kettle to make tea and coffee. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Kep. It was a great short stay in Kep Beach!

PPengguna TetamuThe people at reception were so polite and helpful, however, everything after that went south! The bathroom had no shower curtain and basic toiletries, but the water was hot. The room was clean with basic amenities. The balcony had a nice view over the road to a huge swimming pool. Cannot imagine when the slimy pool was last cleaned! The real problem was breakfast. The cuisine was basically Asian and all I could have was watermelon, toast and jam and coffee.No accommodating Western tastes! Instead of staying three nights we only stayed one. The real pity with Rock Royal is that when we stayed there six years ago the accommodation was great including a delicious breakfast catering for all tastes!Nothing has been spent on upkeep and it shows. The hotel needs a major makeover! Such a pity, but these are the facts.
